5 out of 5 eggsDoes work with Classified MB

Pros: I felt the need to post yet again this does work with the Classified MB no problem no adapter needed Cpu plug works fine use 8 pin connector and you can use two 4 pin side by side for the second 8 pin plug on board then if you run sli you can use the cables that have the 6pin and 8pin connectors

Need nothing extra for this to work

Cons: nothing

5 out of 5 eggs3 months of torcher

Pros: Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. This thing has held up to what ever load I could throw at it. 5ghz+ for CPU. Tri SLI 280s. TRI CF 4890s. Nothing phased it.

Cons: Bulky wire grouping. With HAF 932 tho, hiding out of way was no problem.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: It's almost the perfect PSU to go with the Cooler Master HAF-932. Also it has enought juice to run anything i feel like adding to my RIG

Cons: Nothing for just one thing, CPU 4+4 power wire should be a bit longer then what it is, it's the only wire i had just a minor problem to get my cable management somewhat the way i want it.

Other Thoughts: I got this product at such a great price. I'm soo happy i was able to aquire one on time ; )

1 out of 5 eggsCOOLER MASTER PSU 1100 DEATH

Pros: It looks nice and the customer service chat line guy was nice...

Cons: but then it went all down hill. I submitted the erma to CM as instructed and it took them almost a week to issue me a number to ship the PSU back to them. Now it has been in an 'inspection' status almost a month. I guess they are swampped with all the business out there these days. If I don't hear anything soon, I am just going to buy a new PSU and it won't be CM, lol. They also have no email address listed on their website and their online chat people obviously follow a script.

Other Thoughts: CM has great products... just hope they don't break, or if they do, that it is soon enough for you to rma it with newegg since they are awesome with the rma process. This psu has cost me more then the price of it in lost business and CM isn't looking too good for customer service skills. Choose wisely.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for any inconvenience that you have had. If you can please contact us via Live Chat with your erma number we can then get that rectified for you. Our email address is customersupport@coolermaster.com . The Live Chat link is available below.

Respectfully,

CMUSA Customer Support.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with 3-Way SLI and 4th 9800GT for Physx

Pros: Works with 3-Way SLI GTX 280's and a 4th 9800GT 1GB for physx. Playing Crysis Warhead with 8xAA and 16xAF with and 3 cards at 700,1500,1450 and the 4th overclocked as well my UPS tells me I am pulling +920w from the unit and this PSU keeps up without any issues. Granted I don't play Crysis for more than an hour at a time but its still pretty impressive. I've owned this for a little over a year now and its still running strong. I had a TT 1200W blow out and a "Taygun" 900W blow out and this one is still kickin. I did leak from my watercooling loop into the TT so... not the psu's fault lol.

I am also running 10x 120mm R4 fans, 2 waterpumps, i7 956 EE @4.2Ghz 1.425v, 12GB of DDR3, a Bluray Combo drive, 3x 1TB Barracudas and a 4th 500GB drive (for music), Logitech G15 & G13, MOMO stearing wheel, Rumblepad and a Wingman flight stick all via USB on a EVGA Classified E759 SLI mobo. My power needs are above average and this PSU delivers.

Cons: The power cord for the PSU has a weird proprietary horizontal 3 pin configuration. Can't use any power cable other than the one it came with. It would suck to leave the power plug at a LAN party or someplace and not be able to use another power cable. I would be out of a machine until I ordered a new one from Cooler Master.

Other Thoughts: I was going go to go with the more popular 1000w model but got this one instead for the extra 100w. Served me well so far. Hope this helps.

1 out of 5 eggsIt DIED!

Pros: It looks awesome and DID its job great.

Cons: It has a ton of wires... need to utilize them in FULL tower. Never had any issues until tonight right before I really needed the computer... oh well to that opportunity.

Other Thoughts: I thought it was the end all, be all of PSUs from Cooler Master... now after troubleshooting this thing for the past couple hours... looks like they have a 1000W modular PSU.... mmmmm. Wonder if I can get them to exchange this paperweight for a new Silent modular one.... doubt it.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: This thing is so awesome never gets hot I run 4 HD a I7 920 OC to 3.8 2 gtx 285 and 8 fans on the 760 classified MB Has on and off switch on the back unlike most PSU at this power rating.

It does have all the connectors you need to hook both power connectors to the cpu 1 full 8 pin and 2 4 pins that can be put in side by side to make the second 8 pin works just fine that way and that is how I have it done.(talking about the classified MB which has 2 cpu power connectors that is optional to use both) Both clips touch the locking clip to keep them in.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Not sure why they are so cheap for such quality but hey I guess I benefited from that. Though some may think because of the low price they are not as great as they are.

1 out of 5 eggsNot working

Pros: Very nicely built. Lots of long cables with all the connectors you can ask for

Cons: When I hooked it up and hit the power button nothing happened. I of course went looking for the connector I had forgotten to hookup or the loose one. I did not find any problem. Looked to make sure I was plugged into the wall and the back of the supply, all was ok. Repeated trying to power up several time. Suddenly it worked without me changing a thing! I have five hard disks in the computer. Three of the five were not working when they had been working previously on an Ultra 750 Watt supply.
Put the Ultra back in and all was fine.

Other Thoughts: Called Cooler Master. They are shipping me a new supply today. I'll report when I get the new one and see how it goes.

5 out of 5 eggs1100 watt octopus

Pros: Tons of long cables and power.

Cons: Not modular. You really have to a case with very good cable management cuz this thing has a ton of cables. My HAF 932 was up to the task though.
Could use more molex connectors.
A little longer than most psu.

Other Thoughts: This psu does have a 8 pin cpu power connector but it was not compatable with the 8 pin cpu connector on my EVGA e760 Classified. NewEgg does sell a adapter to solve this issue and you can get it here. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812887002&cm_re=molex_to_8_pin_power_adapter-_-12-887-002-_-Product
