Cooler Master's Silent Pro RS-600-AMBA-D3 PSU is designed with the noise conscious user in mind. This 80 Plus certified unit has a rated continuous output capacity of 600W for safe and reliable computer system. Not only is it an SLI certified unit, it is also compliant with ATX 12V v2.3.
The modular cable design can eliminate clutter and improve airflow inside the chassis, and the PCIe connectors (two 8-pin) have bead core protection to minimize EMI and electrical noise. The back panel is a honeycomb mesh for unrestricted air flow. The combination plus the 135mm silent fan results in the Power Supply delivers silent, cool operation and provide very high efficiency levels and low noise rating.
Pros: Literally silent. Compared to the top-quality PSU that it replaced, this makes no sound at all. Now I only hear my case fans.
Cons: 1. Believe it or not, the Molex and SATA power connectors are a bit larger than they should be. I had huge trouble fitting them in. This is the first time I ever see such irregularities. I still had my old PSU to confirm I wasn't imagining things. I had to file away one of the Molex connectors so it would go in, and to reall jam a SATA power connector. The connectors from my old PSU slid in very nicely in comparison, and gripped tight. 2. The voltages aren't as tightly managed as my old premium PSU. I'm getting up to .26 difference on some of them, compared to no more than 0.10 with my old PSU.
Other Thoughts: This is my first Cooler Master PSU. The oddly sized connectors, which caused me to spend hours installing this PSU, are a reason for me not to come back :(. I still gave it 3 stars because once it's installed, it's pretty good.

Great Unit

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Modular, quiet and 600 watts of continuous power (not maximum like most are rated). Loads of SATA connections and nice flat cabling.
Cons: Heh?
Other Thoughts: Yes this is rated as 600 watts but in reality this is a 720 watt power supply (check Cooler Master's website)

Pros: Quiet. Runs cool. Modular cables. 80 Plus Certified. Fast shipping.
Cons: The rubber brackets/pads that go around the edge of the PSU are difficult to install. I did not dock the review for this because I installed it without the pads and it works fine.
Other Thoughts: I was looking for a quiet and cool running PSU for my rig and this one fit the bill.

Pros: silent as silent gets. works right out of the box. nice flat cabling. pefect!
Cons: the rubber pieces that are supposed to cover the ends are kind of odd. good idea from them, and i understand what they are trying to achieve, but I'm certain they can find a better implementation.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Solid construction , very heavy , has good amperage and efficiency for the price. Was only 80$ when I bought it. Not a fan of modular but does keep the cable clutter down. Nice and quiet.
Cons: The molex connectors as mentioned previously are a tad too big , however they fit fine just very snugly.
Other Thoughts: Got it powering a 5770 and seems to be doing just fine. Was a great deal at 80$ , but now it's too expensive and you might as well go with an equal corsair for the same price.
