1 out of 5 eggsFailed on me and the replacement process stunk

Pros: It worked for 2.5 years. Seemed pretty quiet.

Cons: It failed after 2.5 years.
I only have one computer in my house, which I use to take online classes (amongst other things). To get a warranty replacement, they required that send them the faulty part first, which would take shipping time plus 2-3 days to arrive and be processed. Then they claimed that it will take another 7-9 days to get the replacement shipped to me. Finally, a notice on their web-site indicates that they are experiencing delays in shipping out replacement parts, adding an unknown number of extra days. So at minimum, I would be completely without my computer for 9 days, and at most I could be without it for 12+ days (not counting weekends). I'm sorry, but a 2 week turn around time to replace a part that failed while under warranty is unacceptable.
Additionally, the person I chatted with on their website (Nichole) was very snippy with me.

Other Thoughts: If you have extra parts or backup PCs around, and you can survive without a PSU for a few days, then this isn't the worst option. But do not put it into a PC that is essential to your life/work.

1 out of 5 eggsToo Much Fan Bearing Noise

Pros: I have used it over 2 years.
It has not failed.

Cons: The main reason I purchased this power supply is to get a low noise power supply.

BUT, It make too much noise, from day 1.

It is quiet enough until it reaches normal operating temperature, afterwards, it make a noise that sounds like ball bearings with no lubricate.

I can hear it grinding 20 feet away.

I am very dissatisfied.

This power supply has "silent" in its name, plus, the fan is called a "silent fan", but, I have lower cost power supplies with smaller fans that did not advertise "silent" that are quieter .

When I am burned on a product, I never buy it again.

5 out of 5 eggsBullet proof

Pros: When I put this power supply on the bench to test before I installed it in a friend's machine, the power levels were spot on, even under load. Any fluctuation was well within expected levels. I have no problems using this on future builds.

Cons: The 24 pin connector was a tight fit on the motherboard. I do not remove it except when a component dies so cannot subtract any eggs for that.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Power Supply Sata & Molex leads

Pros: Looks Nice!

Cons: The Cables (Sata & Molex) are to tight can not get them to fit any DVDs, Harddrives, Etc. Tried twice to get something done! CoolerMaster has no answer. I will not recommend
CoolerMaster Power supplies!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We recommend that you connect the sata power first before installing the sata data cable onto any sata device. When the SATA data cable is connected, it results in a troublesome connection for the sata power cable. If you would like to further troubleshoot this, please contact us via the Live Chat link below.

Respectfully,

4 out of 5 eggsA good pwr supply

Pros: Nice and quiet.

Cons: The cables were not very flexible. They were not round shaped, making it harder to route.

Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply to upgrade to a bigger graphics card, well I think I have too small of a processor and maybe motherboard to proceed with the upgrade. In the meantime, it is running very quiet. My graphics cars is all I hear running
