5 out of 5 eggsshould work in a gx620, unless you have an sff case

This review is from: Cooler Master Elite Power - 460W Power Supply

Pros: working great in my wife's computer for over a year now.
It should work in a regular Dell case, but it is too wide for the small form factor case. If you have one of those you will need to order one of the long thin power supplies on google or newegg. good price and stable power. Make sure it has the right power plugs for all of the equipment in your dell.

Cons: none after over a year of use.

1 out of 5 eggsDead in less than a year

This review is from: Cooler Master Elite Power - 460W Power Supply

Pros: Can't find any

Cons: Bought this power supply less than a year ago (July '13). Used it for maybe a month or so in a test build. PSU has been sitting unused, unpowered since then. Fast forward to today... went to install it into a brand new build and it wont even power up.

Other Thoughts: Was building a gaming rig for ESO that starts in 1 week. Looks like I will have to wait until I order a new power supply! Awesome!

5 out of 5 eggsMiddle of the Road

This review is from: Cooler Master Elite Power - 460W Power Supply

Pros: I've had this power supply for about 6 months. Not a problem one with it (may have jinxed myself!). Very simple to install and is quiet. I have a "set and forget" mentality with this item. It is perfect for powering my ITX system with a minimal power requirement. Supply came with all the connectors needed. Provides a little overkill for my system but that was by design. Never buy a power supply that just barely satisfies your maximum power requirements. Take the time to do the math and you will be satisfied with your final choice.

Cons: No cons. Fits my case perfect.

Other Thoughts: Considering cost and performance, this fan is an excellent product. It is not intended for a gaming system with massive video cards, overclocked CPUs, and the like. For an average computer system this is a fine power supply. Do your homework and define your system power requirements then buy the right power supply. Then work on a cooling strategy to keep it from frying.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

This review is from: Cooler Master Elite Power - 460W Power Supply

Pros: Inexpensive, new power supply with $10 rebate.

Cons: The power supply did not turn on and it's $12 to send back the brand new, dead power supply to CoolerMaster and I'm unable to send it back to Newegg because I've already sent off for the rebate.

Other Thoughts: $x for the power supply minus $10 rebate card + $12 return shipping on defective power supply = $x + $2 + an hour of time screwing around with installing and removing a defective power supply, registering the serial number on CoolerMaster's website, uploading a copy of the invoice, submitting a request for an RMA online, waiting a day for the response, packing the defective power supply, printing out a label for it and driving it to the Fed-Ex ground pick up point. Now it's 5 business days ground to CA and then 5 more business days back via ground shipping for the replacement. So, I'm now out $x + $12 ($x + $2 when the rebate arrives in 6-8 weeks) and an hour of my time and am still at least two weeks away from having a functional power supply. Grrrrrr However, this is the first time Cooler Master has let me down like this.

This review is from: Cooler Master Elite Power - 460W Power Supply
