Cooler Master adds M1000 to the Silent Pro series, giving extreme overclockers and/or ultra high-end systems all the power they need. With up to 80A on a single 12V rail, these power supplies deliver where it counts and won’t have any problems powering even the most demanding multi-graphic card systems. These units feature flat modular cables for improved airflow and cable management. It also comes with shock absorption silicon pads to remove possible vibrations.

80 PLUS BRONZE Certified The 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.

Running a quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM, gtx 460 GPU, 3 sata HDD's (1 10k RPM raptor). Bought mine in early 2010... Cons: ...and it died in early 2013. I guess 3 years or less is about the shelf life now of most PSU's. I was able to RMA it to Coolermaster, but then they sent me a DOA one on arrival. I wish they were more reliable. They left no documentation on what to do if the replacement was DOA. :( Other Thoughts: It would have been nice if this product lasted at least 5 years or more, which is about the life of most average PC's these days. Instead it only lasted about 3 years, which is quite disappointing. I've had older PSU's last longer than this one did. :( Did you find this review helpful? Cons: Modular cables are a bit short for routing in my HAF922 case. I installed the PSU, and my system now restarts every 3-4 seconds before post. Checked the voltages with a meter (no load) and the gray wire wasn't providing the required voltage. Must have gotten a bad one, it happens sometimes. Did you find this review helpful? The Fan growls when the system idles. I can also hear coil whine. Other Thoughts: PSU is noisy when it should be quiet, near idle. At peaks when I'm Folding at Home while not home I don't care. It is very silent and I hear no vibrations like some people say, also it comes with 2 front and back rubber covers and I am only using 1, still with no noise or vibrations. Cons: See other thoughts Other Thoughts: The PSU is kind of long and in my Zalman Z11 it sits on the bottom of the case and I had to replace the 140mm fan at the bottom with 120mm just so it could fit, along with pulling off a rubber cover at one end like mentioned under "pros" and still my 120mm barely fits. Either way I was aware that it would be a tight fit. Also my fan at the bottom of the case blocks 3 ports on the PSU but that is more of a case issue then a PSU issue and I have no need for them,, Yet.. but its quiet so im very happy with it. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
