3 out of 5 eggsLasted alittle longer than a year

Pros: Does what you need it to do.

Cons: Crapped out the other day after being used about 14 months. It was not left on all the time and not pushed very hard. Pretty disapointing when the cheap PS is still rocking after 5 years in the old computer and this one is done for.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Excellent PSU. Bought this 2 years ago 1/10/2011 and its still running strong. Would recommend.

Cons: Cords are a little stiff but once they are in place they stay. No complaints

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: Well I was scared when I first got this PSU i'm not going to lie, I read so many bad reviews last year after I pushed the button to pay for it that I almost freaked and wanted to try and cancel my order. But I gave this one a shot and thus far *knocks on wood* it has been a lovely PSU, runs smoothly with no spikes and is pretty quiet. I got a case though that has it on the bottom, but I suppose if you had it on top it might be a bit louder?

Plenty of cords for me though for some who plan on making rigs that have like 5 of everything it might not be enough.

Cons: Only cons I could see was that the cords were a bit stiff to work with and when I looked inside the psu I could see a wire pressed up against the perforated part on the back of it which worries me that it might chew through the wire one day but...it likely won't.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked fine while it lasted

Cons: I got this power supply about 6 months ago and then its suddenly died on me. I was using it just fine then i turned off my computer, a couple of hours later when i tried to turn on my computer it wouldn't turn on. I tried everything and nothing seemed to get my computer to turn on, i used a different power supply and it worked"

1 out of 5 eggsBuzz?

Pros: Good Cable management

Cons: I've started to notice a buzzing noise from the power supply. Very frustrating. It is not the fan bearings as i have stopped the fan for testing. Submitting for RMA

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

We apologize for any trouble. Please do contact us if you need any assistance in the rma process or if you have any questions via the Live Chat link below.

Respectfully,

4 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

Pros: Plenty of cable length.
Cable is protected with nice braiding.

Cons: Died after 13 months of use. RMA with CoolerMaster and got a replacement. Working fine for the past month.

Other Thoughts: It does the job. I gave it 4/5 eggs because of the one that died after a year. The RMA process went very well and my replacement is doing well too.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat power for the money

Pros: I built a new system and bought this power supply to power it.
5 year guarantee
Reliable power
Long cables

Cons: This is not a modular power supply, which means that you more than likely will have extra cables laying around inside your case.

If your budget is tight (like mine was) then I recommend you go with this product. If you have a little more money to spend, I would recommend a modular power supply to reduce clutter.

This is not a major deal or drawback so I would not shy away from this just because of the extra cables.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love this power supply. The wires are not to confusing, they all fit into the correct spots perfectly, and I didn't really have any problems with it being loud (Until the bearings in the fan started going - See Cons).

Cons: Well, I purchased this product on Feb. 10th 2012 and it is already going out. I can hear the bearings in the motor for the fan and it is louder than any other thing on my computer. Took me awhile to figure out what the noise was (Thought it was my hard drive at first, but figured out it wasn't). Only giving this product 2 eggs because I thought such a good nice company would have quality products. I have heard only 1 bad things from this company, and guess what, the EXACT same thing happened to me as the complaint I got (Bearings going bad). I will be RMAing this as soon as possible.

Other Thoughts: Really think if it is the companies fault that the product failed, they should pay for the shipping and receiving and not only the receiving. Every other company does it (Microsoft, Sony, Apple, ThinkGeek, ect.) yet something I pay money for to receive a quality item can't get paid for? It's not my fault it failed, it's your fault.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the PSU. If you haven't already done so, please RMA the product back to us, link below for your reference. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the policy is to have end-user ship the RMA back to us for replacement. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us on live chat.

Respectfully,
