3 out of 5 eggsSay goodbye to your sata power connectors

Pros: got it for 60 bucks.
Never noticed the fan.
Looks nice.
Ample power.
Hasn't died yet.

Cons: Connectors are tighter than fat chicks bikini. connector for my H100i broke a piece off.

I almost cracked my motherboard in half trying to remove the 24pin. this PSU makes me feel like i never want to unplug anything ever because its so hard to unplug EVERYTHING.

The sleeving is also hella cheap. (better sleeving on my cr4ppy PSU i replaced.)

Other Thoughts: Just because of the SATA tightness issue I wouldnt buy this again.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for 3 years...

Pros: Was a great power supply for as long as it worked. Ran a quad core system 8 GB of RAM with a gtx 460 card and 3 sata hdd's (one of them 10k RPM).

Cons: died after 3 years of use, and when I RMA'd it to Coolermaster, they sent me a DOA one in return. I have no clue how to get the DOA one back to them as I don't know what I need to input on their web site. :(

Other Thoughts: I've had many PSU's over the years, and most last more than 3 years. Just seems like the quality is not as good these days as it used to be.

3 out of 5 eggsGood, but loud

Pros: It's a reliable power supply with quality construction. Plenty of power cables to supply everything needed.

Cons: Fan is loud under full load. Cables are a bit stiff, making it difficult to power to 3 stacked SATA drives. Not modular.

Other Thoughts: i had difficulty initially running power to my SATA hard drives. The spacing between connections on the SATA line was very short, combined with the sleeves meant i had to have some fairly sharp kinks in the cable. After that was setup the power supply ran very well. It is very quiet (inaudible) at idle. But with the video card under full load (i.e. a game), the power supply fan starts to run and it is *very* loud. It easily drowns out the CPU fan, GPU fan, case fan, and 2 hard drives combined.

i've had it for a year and i'm going to move it to my bitcoin mining, 5 hard drive server, in the basement. i've replaced it with a Corsair HX750, which is an *extraordinarily* quiet, modular, power supply - that came in it's own crushed velvet bag. Even under full load i cannot hear the Corsair.

2 out of 5 eggsDied right before a 3 day weekend

Pros: Powered everything thing in my CM Storm Scout until it up died

Cons: I've had it running since the first week of February 2011 and it stopped working after a restart 2 days ago.

Other Thoughts: Started the eRMA process hoping for a smooth resolution......I'll take quick if I can get it as well.

5 out of 5 eggssolid performance for almost 3 years now

Pros: has the wattage and amperage and 8pin pci-e connectors built in to run sli or crossfire rigs i needed for a much lower price than most other reputable brand name PSU makers.

Cons: it's not modular?

Other Thoughts: i gave it 5 eggs based on price, performance, reliability. thanks to neweggs pictures and detailed accurate description i knew what i would get before making my selection which was not the +40 modular surcharge at the time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Psu

Pros: This is a great power supply. I like any sane person was a little cautious about buying a cheaper power supply. But this thing works just fine and i haven't had any problems with it.

Cons: It made my computer a lot heavier when i swapped it out from a 400 W

3 out of 5 eggsDecent PSU - Awful RMA Experience

Pros: -Plenty of Connectors
-Reliable Power
-Easy Cabling

Cons: -Unit failed after 1.5 years of hard use. Not a huge issue, these things happen. See other thoughts for details of RMA....

Other Thoughts: If you can get it on super sale, do so. Don't expect to get warranty service if your situation deviates at all from a very normal and easy path (Single Address)

The RMA process has been a nightmare. We switched addresses in the middle of the RMA process (RMA initiated, PSU had not been shipped back to the manufacturer yet).

When advised that I moved, the CS rep did not tell me I needed to update the address in the RMA (I didn't explicitly ask if this needed to be updated, but indicating I had moved should have been enough to prompt that). Mailed it back from my new address, wrote the new address on the RMA packing slip and it was still delivered to my old address. Contacted CS and they authorized a UPS pickup for it. Lo and behold the UPS guy shows up at my new address asking to pick up the package. Building management at the old address can't get ahold of the current tenant and the package has not been left out for UPS to pick up even if they had tried to pick it up at the correct address. To be fair, the last part is not Cooler Master's fault.

Now I'm out a PSU and the $15 it cost to ship it to the RMA center.

Hands down, the worst warranty experience I've ever had from a major brand on any type of part. Future builds will not contain Cooler Master parts. Their products have been generally reliable, but when they break I don't need the headache of dealing with a broken RMA process.

5 out of 5 eggsVERY GOOD POWER SUPPLY

Pros: This power supply is more than I expected. Man is it quiet, I had to really look at the fan to see if it was moving. The thing ha more than enough cable and they are of good quality. I just have a normal computer with 3 hard drives 2 dvd drives and 2 video cards. I don't jump cars or anything with it like some of these other cats seem to want the power to do. One of the things I liked most was bolt it in and turn it on, it was as simple as that, everything fit perfect. GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY.

Cons: It doesnt have a high capacity magazine and wont shoot .357 rounds.

Other Thoughts: I don't know when I will get the rebate but from other comments they seem to be forthcoming with them.
