5 out of 5 eggsLives up to it's name! So far...

Pros: -Very quiet
-It was easy to connect everything (all of the cables I needed were included)
-Has a nice look to it. (Very simple and sleek)

Now to show you that I'm not shallow and that I care about more than just the cosmetics of this PSU:

-Appropriate voltage for my dual SLI GTX 660s and seems to run them no problem at all
-The fan curve is appropriate, right out of the box. (No adjustments needed)
-Did I mention this thing is very quiet?

Cons: -The cables were just a little stiff. Just do a little bending back and forth and it will take care of that problem.

Other than that: So far? I got nothing.

Other Thoughts: I'm quite new to the PC building game, but I consider myself educated enough to confidently build a PC myself and even for someone else.

I bought this PSU as a replacement for a 5+ year old ULTRA 550W, (I'm not too sure exactly how old the ULTRA was seeing as I got it for free as a "hand-me-down" from my Uncle at the time) that has been in my first machine since I built it about a year ago. The only reason I needed a new PSU was because I decided to SLI my GPU's and the 550W just wasn't cutting it.

The Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 is currently powering the following:

Mobo: MSi 970A-G46
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz (Black Edition)
RAM: 8GB (4GBx2) G.Skill Sniper Series
GPU: 2 EVGA GTX 660 SC
HDD: Western Digital 1TB
SSD: SanDIsk ReadyCache 32GB (This works like magic)
I believe that's about it.

Even though I have only had this PSU for approximately 24 hours, it still is rocking my rigs world at a relatively cheap price.

Since this review may be done a little too prematurely: If anything happens to this PSU in the near future, I will be sure to come here to complain about it first, before calling Cooler Master just to tell you guys that I am sorry for leading you on. =].

If you're considering purchasing the Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 720W debate no more! This is the right one for YOU. =].

3 out of 5 eggsChassis issue

Pros: Everything was in the box and nicely organized.

Cons: I have a Cooler Master case and the power supply housing inside has a lip that covers up the location for the PCI-E cables. I didn't get a chance to fire it up. It seems strange to locate any plugs at the extreme edges of the unit.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for me

Pros: Suits my needs. 8350 and r9 280x.
Very quiet. I would recommend this psu to anyone.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Not the psu's fault, but I got a larger one to give me room to crossfire two 280x's in the future..looking back, I would I would have gotten one that's more powerful.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply, so far no issues.

Pros: *modular design to save space and optimize airflow
*plenty of connectivity for heavy power users
*efficient, 80plus bronze certified
*ready for SLI/Xfire

Cons: *maybe not enough for extreme enthusiasts

Other Thoughts: I configured my desktop on PC Part Picker with these specs:

INTEL CORE I7 4770K @4.7GHZ PROCESSOR
GIGABYTE Z87MX-D3H-CF LGA 1150 MOTHERBOARD
GSKILL SNIPER SERIES 8GB DDR3-2400 MEMORY
OCZ VECTOR VTR1-25SAT3 128GB SSD
SEAGATE BARACUDA 1TB 7200RPM 32MB SATA3 HDD
COOLER MASTER NSE-200-KKN2 MICRO ATX CASE
COOLER MASTER SEIDON 240M LIQUID COOLER
COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO M2 720 POWER SUPPLY
COOLER MASTER BLADE MASTER 2000RPM 120mm FAN x 2
COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP 1200RPM 120mm FAN x 4

and possibly 2 770GTXs and it came up to an estimated 684 watts so this is good.

5 out of 5 eggsCM PSU

Pros: Modular in anyway that matters. Plenty of power though my requirements don't really press it. Quiet, I never hear it in my Define R4. Rebate arrived in due time.

Cons: None at this time. Installed very easily as with any PSU I've encountered.

Other Thoughts: Was a little worried about rebate. My worries were unwarranted.

5 out of 5 eggsAs Advertised

Pros: Operates in total silence. Modular cables remove the mass of unused cables clumped in your case.

Cons: A bit pricey.

Other Thoughts: I liked the first one of these I bought so much that I bought another for my other HTPC.
