3 out of 5 eggsNoisy but works

Pros: + It powers my things
+ It's cheap, but still enough that you trust that it's quality
+

Cons: - It is the noisiest component in my system.
- I cannot observe any of the proclaimed fan speed control based on usage; it seems to be loud all of the time.
- The cables are entirely gross compared to pure black cables, but that's par for this price.

Other Thoughts: It absolutely does all that could be expected at this price point.
The product page is incorrect when it promotes the speed control and quietness of the fan. It is loud all the time.

2 out of 5 eggsDying squirrel.

Pros: Works?

Cons: Doesnt last.

Other Thoughts: Started squealing after about 8 months. Unless you want your computer to sound like a dying squirrel, dont get it.

5 out of 5 eggsPSU

Pros: great psu for the price, I was a bit sceptical on it since I got it for a steal. Do far it's been doing great, plenty of connectors.

Cons: the sata connectors are a bit snug, this almost broke my hard drives sata connections.

1 out of 5 eggswas good.......

Pros: Looked good. Liked the the cables. Wanted a black power supply for this build and this one is black.

Cons: Mine lasted 10 months. Now the hassle of RMA! I went to the cooler master, website setup an account and tried to get the ball moving but no dice. They want me to send it back to the retailer if it under warrenty (5 Year). Newegg on the other hand only RMA's within 30 days. I'm Guessing if i call them on a phone i can make this work but kinda upset i can't seem to get it done online!

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Rip,

We apologize for any confusion. If you have submitted an RMA, you would send it to us directly. Would you be able to contact us so we can clear up the confusion and guide you? We once again apologize for any confusion you have.

Respectfully,

Marvin R.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy!!

Pros: Very quiet, Stays cool(warm under heavy load), I installed this to replace my 350watt PSU on 08/06/2013...just writing review now because I wanted to see how it held up over a few months of daily use.

It's been functioning like a champ so far. No issues functionality wise. Good warranty as well.

Cons: The only thing I would even consider to be a con is that, like other reviewers have said as well and I can confirm the sata connectors are pretty snug (tight fitting)

RS-600-ACAA-B1 ATX 12V V2.31

Other Thoughts: I tested this with a DMM before installing to make sure I was getting the correct voltages on all connectors (while idle) before installing. For obvious reasons.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, quiet

Pros: Quiet, plenty of connectors, reliable so far, inexpensive

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I've used a lot of cheap power supplies, much to my woe. It's a stupid place to cut the budget-I went with a not-the-cheapest option this time and its worked fine. Eventually I even got my rebate card back.
