4 out of 5 eggsGreat charger overall

Pros: Smart charging of all types of NiMh batteries. You put the batteries in and let the charger worry about how long they need to go.

Cons: The elaborate closing mechanism seems like it could wear out, but hopefully the lifetime warranty will cover it if anything should happen.

Other Thoughts: I have been using it for a few months now and it is still working great.

3 out of 5 eggsdecent / weak

Pros: great charger because of the variety of charging options.

Cons: after repeated use: 1-2 per day for 2 months the spring-loaded latch that has to be completely closed doesn't catch anymore.

the latch not catching is simply a design flaw. It can be fixed by putting something really heavy on top.
