In today's power hungry world you need a PSU that can deliver and the Rosewill RD500-2DB does. With 500W of total output power there's plenty of juice for the most demanding situations. Dual 12V rails with 31 amps of power provide plenty of independent, reliable power.
As in all cases, being well connected is of major importance, and sprouting from the housing are a multitude of mesh wrapped cables to connect all your components. The mesh wrapping keeps things neat and helps promote better airflow and cooling. Universal motherboard connectivity is ensured with the 20+4 main connector and 4/8 pin EPS connector.
All these are enclosed in a flat black housing with multiple ventilation holes and dual 80mm cooling fans. The smart temperature sensor intelligently adjusts the fan speed according to the system temperature for minimized operation noise. For an added bit of style, the fans are equipped with blue LEDs for an otherworldly look when operating.
Pros: got this powering a overclocked brisbane 4000+ x2 to around a 5200+ x2 (thats 89 watts), soon to be a 7750 kuma, a 8800GS (overclocked pulling 129 watts), my 4830 will be here friday, 3 250 gig WD RE SATA HDD's in RAID0, 2 dvd burners (pulling 80 watts), 4 gigs wintec 800mhz ram (overclocked to 898 pulling 90 watts) 5 80mm fans, 2 120mm fans, 2 cathodes, an alpine cooler 64 pro...and it replaces a thermal**** tr2 430 errr i mean 350 watt power supply..i can tell a huge difference..load times are quicker, everything is running cooler, everything is Uber stable and i got plenty of room to grow on...plus the lights are great and go with all the blue in my pc..oh..and its cold as ice..ill post a hard copy of my rails in other thoughts
Cons: no cons here, this thing is HEAVY, so thats always a good thing, the wires are kinda odd, they have a yellowish gold stripe that throws off the colors in my pc, but then again, they got a different look to them and they glow under a uv, so i guess thats a nice touch by rosewill...which has the best customer service since newegg

Pros: Looks amazing...black box with black sleeved cables that are striped yellow, they glow in the dark under black light. Blue led on both fans. The best feature besides the (2) 12v rails w/500 watts, is the length and quantity of the cables, they are plenty long to reach the lower bay drives and MB connections, especially if you have a full ATX size MB like my ECS A780GM-A I bought here at the egg. In fact, the colors on the board - black, yellow, orange match the PSU's cable colors-very nice combo. I looked at ALOT of PSU's before choosing this one and so far I could not be happier.
I ordered Wed. morning arrived Thurs afternoon...how the heck do they do that? AMAZING!
Shipping has always been great at the egg, it does depend on what state you live though. If you live in Cali like me and all the items on your order are in stock at one of their Cali distribution centers then it has always been next day...love it!
Cons: None...NEWEGG IS THE BEST E-COMMERCE SITE/SERVICE, PERIOD. Have only bought else where or local if I needed something right away and the egg was out of stock.
Other Thoughts: Stone Temple Pilots and Scott Weiland rule the earth...

Pros: Cables are well wrapped, great quality, lights are cool.
Cons: Not modular, runs a little loud and hot.
Other Thoughts: This PSU performs great, it arrived in a nice box and was ready to go. It runs a little loud, but that's because it has two fans instead of just one. It runs warms though. I gripe about the cables not being modular but the cables are well wrapped for good airflow.

Pros: Cheap; blue light looks cool; works as expected
Cons: The power connector on the PSU sticks out, so it didn't fit exactly with my case, had to bend a small piece of metal on my case to fit this PSU.

Pros: Power supply runs great easily cleaned stays blue
Cons: if you're looking to buy a gaming pc at this point go for a better one.
Other Thoughts: good power supply. Just no use for it its a 500W doesn't hold up anymore
