Pros: The hub is a compact design and positions easily under my LCD. I use it to extend the USB ports on my laptop which has limited ports. After 23 months I have not had a single failure.

Cons: There are no cons to this product.

Other Thoughts: I would absolutely recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase it again.

Other Thoughts: I've had this hub for 4 or 5 years, in use 24/7, zero problems, great hub. Decided to write review because I'm getting ready to buy another one. I'm very pleased with this product.

Cons: I bought this to use at work. I wanted to plug this item in and then use it to charge my phone without using my computer (I hate the windows explorer popup that happens every time I get back to my desk and plug my phone in.
I tried to charge my phone without connecting to my computer and it didn't power anything. I then plugged the USB from the HUB into the computer and then it worked.
This item claims to be powered (which means it doesn't rely on a computer for power). I dare say that it is a false claim when it can't charge 1 device on its own.

Other Thoughts: some of the previous reviews were misleading in my case. I have had some really good experiences with Rosewill devices/items in the past, ranging from a computer repair kit to a HDD mount. This is definitely going to make me use different companies for a while.

The price point is key to this device, otherwise it is a standard 7 port USB 2.0 hub. Very basic, perfect for a desk or office.

Pros: 7 usb 2.0 hub for under $25.00, who can beat that? So far I have not had any problems with this device so far, I use it for charging my ipod, logitech headset, connecting my headset, connecting my g13 game pad and g19 keyboard.

Cons: If only the connecting usb cable was just a tad bit longer!

Other Thoughts: Due to the nature of usb hubs, just know that charging devices get better results plugging them into a power adapter or the computer directly.

Pros: LEDs work?

Cons: No input power requirements listed on hub. Supplied power supply is 12VDC. Plugged it in, inserted USB stick- no response. Previously working USB key no longer works in any computer. Thinking I was crazy, grabbed another old USB stick. Verified it worked, plugged into the hub. No response. Plugged into another computer and it's dead. I've seen no mention of this in the reviews. I suspect that this should have a 5VDC power supply, so tread carefully if yours comes with 12VDC. At the very least, back up your data!

Other Thoughts: As cheap as it is, it's not worth the boxing and RMAing and shipping associated.
