5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: Haven't had any issues with this power supply yet. Love that it is modular, it runs great, never gets too hot, and I haven't had any issues so far

Cons: Wish there were less cords, but that's not really the power supply's fault

Other Thoughts: BF bought the 850W version recently to replace a shot power supply and it works like a charm as well. Also, it comes with a nice velcro wrapper for the body cords and several black zip ties. Nice touch.

1 out of 5 eggsCrapped out after 5 months

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: It supplied power for 5 months.

Cons: It only supplied power for 5 months. Started acting up after 3 months, cutting power occasionally. Finally died after 5 months.

Other Thoughts: Was on sale for $90. Still too steep a price for a 5 month lifespan. 5 months of use is maybe worth $30. If you're looking for a 5 month solution for only way too much money, click "add to cart" now!

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU While it Lasted

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: Worked perfectly on the day I got it for about four years until it began to break down.

Cons: A little disappointed it started to breakdown about four years since I got it. I have other brand PSUs such as Antec and Thermaltake which still operate fine 5+ years. The PSU started to breakdown everytime I would turn on my PC, it would make abnormal electrical noises for about a minute and the computer wouldn't boot up correctly. After swapping out for a different PSU, my PC works fine.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU - 750W

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: - Silent operation
- 135mm Fan
- Cool blue LED

Cons: - Only 80 Plus Bronze
- Light is sometimes annoying at night

Other Thoughts: I purchased this PSU to power my Dogecoin mining rig. Within the rig I'm running pretty standard equipment for a gaming PC, 8 gb RAM, 4.0 ghz AMD CPU, VelociRaptor HDD.

For the mining portion I have an XFX 7950 Black Edition, and an MSi 7870 OC Edition. Both running 100% load nearly 24/7.

After LITERALLY 31 days of purchasing this PSU, it has died. I'm not mad about this at all, the PSU worked perfectly as it should have for the 31 days it did work, and it had totally silent operation, which is awesome. I'm confident that Rosewill can work with me on this matter, as the product is passed Newegg's refund/replacement policy timeframe. I will be asking for a replacement, not a refund because I like this product, and Rosewill is a good brand, that I've had good luck with for many years. I know that sometimes things happen and components go bad quicker than we want, and I'm okay with that. The PSU is worth replacing, and is a good addition to any system.

However, the failure is the reason I've deducted 1 Egg, hopefully understandably.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: Overall it"s a high quality power supply; With 60 Amps on a single 12v rail and 4x 6+2 pin connectors it can power any single gpu easily with enough extra power to add a second gpu. Ascetics are nice and it stays cool and quiet even when I throw my whole system into full load for an hour.

Cons: Non-modular cables is a big one. The blue led is quite annoying as well.

Other Thoughts: System specs:
A8-3870k 3.5GHz @ 1.5v
Msi r7950 tf 3gd5/oc boost 1150/1250 @1.3v
A55m-HVS

4 out of 5 eggsNo problems so far.

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: So far it's been a pretty sturdy PSU. Decent power and not very expensive. Cables are a nice length and there are plenty of connectors for my application. One large 12v rail with 60A of power.

Cons: None so far but I haven't loaded this PSU very much.

Other Thoughts: Good for some multiple GPU action but at only 750w you won't have two extreme cards running at once.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning for 6+ years

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: I have been running this PSU since Jan 2008 and it's still running strong. Just thought it was worth mentioning that this thing is still going after 6 years and 2 new builds.

Cons: none so far

5 out of 5 eggsStill works after 6+ years

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: This baby has been my PSU for 3 dif builds for over 6 years. It has moments where it stays on for weeks at a time. stays cool and keeps my electric bill low. Hell, even the blue LED works still. I'd say if you want one that can take a good beating and will still be kickin' after years of use, I'd say get this thing. Conditioned to last.

Cons: I don't like the blue LED anymore, but I'm not complaining. This will be replaced soon and I will give it to my friend for his new build. No eggs taken off.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply

Pros: Good PSU, does what it's supposed to without shorting or exploding.

Cons: No detachable cables. Which, isn't the PSU's fault, cuz it says the cables don't detach. But going forward I see now how worthwhile it is to have those detachable cables for better cable management.
