In today's power hungry world you need a PSU that can deliver, and the Rosewill RD450-2-SB does. With 450W of total output power there's plenty of juice for the most demanding situations. Dual 12V rails with 30 amps of power provide plenty of independent, reliable power.
As in all cases, being well connected is of major importance, and sprouting from the housing are a multitude of mesh wrapped cables to connect all your components. The mesh wrapping keeps things neat and helps to promote better airflow and cooling. Universal motherboard connectivity is ensured with the 20+4 main connector and 4/8 pin EPS connector.
All these are enclosed in a flat black housing with multiple ventilation holes and a 120mm cooling fan. The smart temperature sensor intelligently adjusts the fan speed according to the system temperature for minimized operation noise.

Nice item for a ncie price
- Pros: Very inexpensive, very quiet and hopefully very reliable.
- Cons: Duel fans would have been nice.
- Other Thoughts: I believe this was the best priced and performanced rated for non-generic brand power supplies. I was especially impressed with the thoughtful wire assembly and ease of installation.

Old School XP/64
- Pros: Was not surprise at the quality when i opened the box, Thanks againg Newegg you rule!, This PSU is sweet, the big Single 12cm "Ball Bearing" Fan and the 120mm rear fan in the ROSEWILL|R6AR6-BK RT case pulls alot of air through the side pannel air duct and vent hole nicely, The PSU has all the plugs that will power any thing and everything, It will even work on older AMD XP/64 MoBo's, Nice black to match the black case, and as otheres have said about the shielding on the wires makes it realy easy to shape them for good placement in the case out of the way of air flow!
- Cons: Not a Con!, Just wish i could have been able to afford the 500 Watt, Im working on a limited budget.
- Other Thoughts: My System! - Pros: This has been working well for a basic upgrade I did on my dads machine. It is very quite and so far the machine has been stable. The cables are jacketed in a mesh which I like.
- Cons: None.
Diesel
- Pros: Looks sweet, and is enough power for my current setup. Just got an ECS A780GM-A Ultra mobo, AMD Phenom II 940 X4, and 8GB of RAM and everything is working great!
- Cons: Not very many 4-pin power connectors ... but common, who still uses those anyway?
- Other Thoughts: Looks slick, all cables are wrapped in mesh which helps to organize the mess inside my box. SATA power cables finally reach my drive bay! The Rosewill case I purchased originally (over a year ago) came with a power supply but its own SATA cables couldn't reach the drive bay! oh well now its running diesel!
Good power supply. Some cables too short
- Pros: Very well built. Tons of connections
- Cons: While there are tons of connections...if you use a non-SATA Hard drive and non-SATA CD drive, you may have a problem. The space between those connectors wasn't enough for me to hook them both up. I moved my CD drive down a slot...didn't matter. Came up an inch short. Had to dig through my computer parts and get a connector I had that extended the cable a few inches and I was fine.
- Other Thoughts: I know most people don't have older devices where this would cause a problem...but just spreading out the two standard plugs by another few inches would have fixed this issue and alot of frustration on my part
