In today's power hungry world you need a PSU that can deliver, and the Rosewill RD450-2-SB does. With 450W of total output power there's plenty of juice for the most demanding situations. Dual 12V rails with 30 amps of power provide plenty of independent, reliable power.

As in all cases, being well connected is of major importance, and sprouting from the housing are a multitude of mesh wrapped cables to connect all your components. The mesh wrapping keeps things neat and helps to promote better airflow and cooling. Universal motherboard connectivity is ensured with the 20+4 main connector and 4/8 pin EPS connector.

All these are enclosed in a flat black housing with multiple ventilation holes and a 120mm cooling fan. The smart temperature sensor intelligently adjusts the fan speed according to the system temperature for minimized operation noise.

3 out of 5 eggsOnly 2 sata connectors!!!!

Pros: -it is a good power supply and serves its purose.
-it is cheap
-solid

Cons: Beware of the details!!!!!!
it says that it has FOUR SATA connecters, but when i recieved, it only had TWO. i was lucky that i didnt go with raiding because i would have used 3 (including burner).
i was really expecting four so i could add another HDD in the future. :(

Other Thoughts: newegg needs to review their details for their items.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Got it when it was $35. Good PSU for that price. I used it in a budget build and it has been running for 4 months under pretty constant use with no issues. Cables were actually long enough.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you know what you're getting, before you buy. It is not modular, and it's not the most effecient PSU. Heat is average, maybe slightly better than other PSUs in it's price range.

5 out of 5 eggsFair price on sale

Pros: It works great to power "mid-high" range modern equipment. Overall a good product.

Cons: Got it on sale, at full price it may not be quite as good of a deal.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget PSU

Pros: Bought this on 02/20/2011 and still alive and kicking. Very good product!

Cons: Wish it had an exhaust fan pulling it out of the machine. 4 Sata connections, but that can be remedied with buying an adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU at a great price!

Pros: Works as expected. Currently runs a Core 2 Duo and 9600 GT (soon a GTX 260) on a secondary machine.

I bought this on sale for $35! Awesome deal!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I just bought a GTX 660 Ti so my GTX 550 Ti will go to my dad and his GTX 260 216 core (father's day present from me) will go in this secondary machine, so I will see how this PSU will handle.
