4 out of 5 eggsPretty darn spiffy

Pros: 80 plus platinum, good price, lots of cables

Cons: Cables are kind of stiff. The power cable doesn't like to stay in, I had to wrap some electrical tape around it to beef it up because it's not worth taking apart my computer to return it.

4 out of 5 eggsFortress 650W

Pros: - Platinum Rated
- Plenty of Cables and Plugs
- Quiet and Decent Looking

Cons: - Not Modular
- Stiff Wires
- Plenty of Cables and Plugs

Other Thoughts: I purchased this power supply because it was platinum rated and would give me plenty of headroom in my system. Both of these things, it does fine. The only drawbacks to this power supply are that it is not modular, and the wires are rather thick and stiff. Trying to find a place to stash all the wires in my NZXT Source 220 was rather difficult. I also found it difficult to route the main power wires for my motherboard and graphics card without putting too much stress on their connectors.

Overall, this is a solid power supply with good connectivity and only some minor flaws in the way of ease of cable management. I would recommend this power supply.

5 out of 5 eggssmall correction

Pros: errata in my earlier review. This DOES have OCP. My bad. Also, for the sake of accuracy, I have the 550W Fortress, not the 650W. NewEgg removed the 550W model listing recently.

Cons: Apologies for the inadvertent bump. (newbie at posting)

5 out of 5 eggsOne easy fix=GREAT PRODUCT/value

Pros: Platinum efficiency, quiet operation, build quality. Got this on sale at a great price and couldn't be happier. 7 Year Warranty!!! Kudos to Rosewell for a great product (with one very forgiveable flaw, see cons)!

Cons: Input AC Power cord is too loose (mine would fall out just from gravity if held in a certain position) - this may be what is causing "DOA" and "puff of smoke" death complaints. Since you can substitute an old cord from your last computer or buy a replacement cord for a buck or two.... Huge win! (until perhaps Rosewill figures this out, fixes this simple oversight and price goes up). If the power cord isn't snug - DON'T power it up unless you like unnecessary RMA's! Hope this helps some of you. Doesn't have Over-Current Protection (for you purists), but with the 7 year warranty and pricing at half of most competitors of similar build quality that do, I'm fine with that.

5 out of 5 eggsReasonable PSU

Pros: Picked up multiple of these PSUs on Newegg's shell shocker deal and is fantastic. Does exactly as described being GTX 670 SLI, plenty enough power being Platinum 650W.
Good length on all the cables even on full Tower computer case!

Cons: Non-modular but knew this purchasing product.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking great

Pros: Bought this unit to build my media server for home use. Fit nicely into my full tower case. All the cable connectors reach through all my HDs. This is 80 plus platinum certified, so it should save me electricity if i leave my media server all the time.

Cons: There not really much to say con on this unit so far. Running great out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Working really great so far. If i need to build another system, i will get this unit again.

4 out of 5 eggsN/A

Pros: Replaced old power supply without any problems. Fan seems to provide more cooling than my previous power supply, but that isn't saying much since I was coming from a generic (no name brand) 450 watt power supply. Also generates less noise compared to previous power supply.

Supposedly more efficient (Platinum certified), meaning it should use less electricity and generate less heat, but haven't really gone out of my way to test or confirm this.

Cons: The fan could a little more cooling to the case, but that's what case fans are for.

Other Thoughts: Other Notes.

The power supply on my older system (AMD Kuma 7750 and Radeon 4850) stopped working and I bought this as a replacement. Much quieter than my previous generic power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so good.

Pros: I bought this for a new system (with used parts) and was relatively easy to install in a standard mid tower. Wires are able to reach all bays without too much clutter. Very little noise while running. Might be quiet enough for a system to be put in the bedroom.

Cons: Not modular, but I already knew that before buying. I'd imagine for most common/simple builds, this will be good
enough.

Other Thoughts: I bought this using a promotional code which made it much cheaper than the closest competitor. I'm not very
familiar with Rosewill's power supplies in terms of reliability, but thought I would take a chance on it due to
cost. So far, everything is running great with no problems. Will update if necessary.

This system was built for a relative of mine, so if there are no problems, I might consider one for myself in the future. Running Core i5 2500k, Sapphire Radeon 6870. Only had a chance to play Diablo 3 and works without any problems.
