5 out of 5 eggsQuality with power to spare

Pros: So when i opened the package from newegg, the box was expertly packed as always, The packaging of the power supply was quality, a thick box and the foam packaging surrounding the PSU would keep it safe in any careless shipping companies truck.

The cables are thick, however i do not see this as a downfall as any person who knows anything about Electricity knows that a thicker wire will transmit the power better,
The connectors on this are top notch, i personally like the fact that the SATA power cable is NOT a right angle, because of the ease of wiring, however if you need right angle connectors this is not the psu for you. i did not have any of the issues that other people were complaining about with the connectors slipping off, when i inserted them, it was a satisfying click and i knew the cable was connected, The MOLEX connectors are also of equal quality, the Pins were centered and not easily eschewed off to one side like you get on cheaper brands, The cable sleeving was quality however i do have a gripe about the 24p connector but ill get to that later,

Unlike most cable sleeving the ends of the expandable tubing is zip tied and then has heat shrink placed over it so there is no way for the wires to come loose,

In order to fully test this power supply i put a 60 amp load onto the 12v line and used a True RMS clamp meter onto the +12v line, and tested the amps, it was indeed 60, so big props for rosewill, then i tested the 120v imput line, the power going into the psu was 119.8V at 14.2 Amps, so it was OVER the 80% efficiency claimed, so another BIG plus for rosewill.

Next i tested the power ripple on all the lines and i was pleasantly surprised, when hooked up to a digital Oscilloscope i measured a maximum of a 2mv ripple in the most extreme case, which is FAR under the allowable.

Cons: The only real complaint i have about this power supply is that the sleeving on the 24p ATX connector was very open, and you could see the wires through it, but that is just a cosmetic complaint

Other Thoughts: All in all i would say that this is one of the better power supplies on the market.
going into this review i was a bit weary to be honest, rosewill used to be the bottom of the barrel cheap brand, but i was pleasantly surprised, i would have to say that if rosewills other products are of this quality, then rosewill will soon to be one of the powerhouse brands,

This will definitely be the power supply i use for years to come, because you cannot beat a 7 year full replacement warranty,

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Great PSU Overall
Fan really is dead silent compared to your oem fan/fans
Running a fx-6350 and A 7870 Gpu with 4 additional fans without giving a grunt or complaint even under heavy load.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Not putting it as a Con, because it isnt; but it is not modular. you either need good cable management or somewhere to stuff the additional cables you dont use.

Pros: The product is great - it's quiet and the overhead of power allows my client to add any accessories that they wish to. The wires are shielded well.

Cons: If I was writing a review of the compnay, I'd dock a star for the slow shipping. Everything else that I ordered arrived second day, and they were all the slowest shipping. The supply, however, spent 3 days in South California before making it into Phoenix.

Other Thoughts: The only thing I wish to see in the future is better shipping practices. Otherwise, it's a positive experience.

1 out of 5 eggsToo bulky

Pros: Quiet operation. Can't say much more since I returned it.

Cons: Bulky and awkward. The SATA connectors slip off and you have to zip tie them. The cables are so thick that they took up the entire inside of my mid tower case. I sent it back and got a different brand and now I have so much more room. I do not recommend this one at all.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill Fortress 750W

Pros: Great PSU has 750 Watts, which is sufficient for most budget gaming/media PC's 80+ platinum means it's extremely efficient which will save electricity and to top it all off a seven yr warranty so your basically golden once you buy it

Cons: None so far we'll see because a PSU's true test is longevity

Other Thoughts: Great buy for the price especially when it goes on sale got it for 104.99

5 out of 5 eggsReally nice PSU

Pros: Fancy packaging;
Lots of connectors, has 2 8 pin motherboard connections;
Comes with two sets of black screws; used one set for the PSU and the other as case screws.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: We use this for a server build, dual xeon 2620s, and this psu delivers the power and has the right connection.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 2 weeks

Pros: It does have a lot of connectors so it should work with just about any modern build.

It did work for 2 weeks in which it didn't seems to have any issues.

Cons: Dead after 2 weeks. I built my new box, fired it up with just the os drive in it and ran it for a couple weeks. Several reboots but never turned it off. I went to complete the build by adding a few more drives which requires the power to be completely shut off, but the power supply never worked again. No burn smell, no pops, no nothing ... total waste of money

Put the power supply in from my old build and it started right up!

Other Thoughts: I'm not the type to bother with returns; I simply will not buy Rosewill again.

As always, Newegg is awesome
