3 out of 5 eggsLasted about 1 year.

Pros: It worked great, has everything you need for your comp, plenty of connections/SATA connections

Cons: its a gonner after a year of uses. Im thinging the ball bearing went out on the fan, anyways its decent, i think i just abused it a little.

Other Thoughts: For the price, i dont think it is worth it at 50-60 dollars, but if it goes lower, then it woulkd be ok.

5 out of 5 eggsGood PS

Pros: Had this thing for well over a year not a problem.

Comes with a nice adaptor for extra sata power.

Glows blue like everything i own.

Cons: Bulky wires and some bad pairings, my P1 connector is huge and unnecessarily long. The 4pin connector also has a 5pin attached to it yet it wouldn't come close to a video card.

Other Thoughts: Overall wire setup might work for others but not me. But that's a personal issue, besides that it works great, powers my:
AMD 64x2 3.2Ghz processor
dvd/cd drive
TV tuner
Wireless NIC
Sound card
5 fans

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is a nice PSU...nice lights and decent fans. Does what it was said to do

Cons: There is a high shrill noise when you power it up, my 2 other PSUs aren't as annoying as this one.

The cords just don't seem long enough with my Antec 900 case. Although they reach, they don't leave much room so you can hide them.

Other Thoughts: All and all it is a decent PSU compared to others I had researched. I just wish their cords were a bit can always zip tie them if they are too long, not much you can do if they are on the short side.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far no issues...

Pros: As a PSU, its doing what I need it to do. Has enough sATA connections which was what I found to be a problem with the lower wattage PSU's. Not feeling like using adapters etc. Its a good load of cables and does the job nicely. I have no concerns thus far, functioning as advertised.
Decent enough juice so far/ I removed the 950 Watt Rosewill that died...RMA was so far so good....this was meant to bridge me till I resolved that. But I'm liking this enough to let it ride.

Good cust svc and product support was a big plus...

Cons: Reading all the faulty versions of this has me worried why? the service and prod support convinced me that its worthwhile.

Other Thoughts: given what we read it can be a gamble or was that just a bad batch? well rosewill seems to be aware of the problem and seems to have fixed. let's hope they continue good prod support, so i'm willing to chance it.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Good

Pros: Nice cables, long length, nice looking product overall.

Cons: Outside construction isn't good. Ran for a day then went to give machine to client (after only installing Windows on the machine) and it was dead. Did multiple power tests on it and sure enough, it was toast.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure there's a good chance my unit was a fluke, but I will not be buying this product again. The construction of it worries me enough to warrant this - not to mention it's dead. I would look elsewhere, but you can't argue with how good the unit looks - if that matters to you.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We try to provide the most reliable products to our customers. The problem you are having might have been caused by a power surge. We would be more than happy, if under warranty, to replace this unit for you. Please email us at for your replacement. We look forward to hear from you soon.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning stable at the moment! the little PSU that could!

Pros: I recently just put together a pretty nice system together but ran into sum budget issues which had me worried about tapping the full potential if dumbed it down with some cheap low end parts. but this has proved quite surprising after i put it to the test with my PC.

Intel dual core 3.0ghz--overclocked to 3.2g
4 Gb 1366mhz ddr3 g skill
sapphire radeon 4650 ddr2 512MB (1GB running crossfire)
Gygabite x48dsq6 mobo

I ran this system with fallout 3 on almost full setting...runs almost like a dream

Cons: only 2 sata adapters..had to run my CD on IDE and use the sata for my DVD and HDD. The cables were a little too long so it left quite bunched up mess until i tied them off. Minor issues for the price i got it for...NO SHIPPING!?!!? I'm In!

Other Thoughts: Ive seen from other reviews about not being SLI or crossfire ready as well as no 8 pin connectors....ive hooked up my 8 pin as well as running crossfire..

5 out of 5 eggsSolid so far

Pros: Runs stable, all the necessary adapters; SATA, PCIE 20+4 pin etc. Like the duel fans, with shinny blue lights =] .
Just got 2 bfg tech 8800 GTS coming in soon, this will be the ultimate test :P

Cons: Only 2 sata power pins, both are already used for my DVD drive and my HDD 320GB. No 8 pin connector. could have more watts.

Other Thoughts: Running
AMD 64x2 5200+
2GB DDR2 duel channel 800 MHZ RAM.
Nforce 570 SLI MOBO
20.1" LCD 1680x1050 monitor
8600GTS (soon to be 8800GTS SLI)

3 out of 5 eggsIt's Okay

Pros: Sleeved cables, cables are long, active PFC, Blue LED.

Cons: It says it is SLI ready, but upon checking on slizone, this PSU is not listed anywhere. Hopefully, Rosewill will clarify. Also, after a year of use, my system became unstable, I traced this down to the PSU by observing the 12V rail drop to about 11. Swapped this PSU with a Thermaltake purepower 600, and it is rock solid stable again.

Other Thoughts: I was going to SLI 2 8800GTS cards, but I didn't think this PSU would hold up and I didn't want to take a chance. For the price of this puppy, you should be able to get an Thermaltake, Antec, or OCZ.

1 out of 5 eggsWAS wonderful.

Pros: For the year and four months I had it, absolutely wonderful. Not so much as a blip. Great cable length, very nice looking.

Cons: With about zero notice, the until literally THREW SPARKS from the back. Fried my UPS in the process, and I won't know for a few more days if its done any damage to my board or other components.

And, to top it off, it comes with a 3 year warranty, Newegg will not honor it over a year, and is down for the time being (which is odd considering that Newegg and Rosewill are directly affiliated companies).

Other Thoughts: I would recommend going with a cooler master or a larger more reliable manufacturer. The Rosewill honeymoon is over!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We apologize for the inconvenience, and will be more than happy to handle this for you. Our IT department is working on the server to fis the problem and please contact for your power supply replacement at our cost. Our service will never down. We look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very sturdy and stable power supply - it's kept me running on a full configuration for a while now and is still rock solid. The blue LEDs are pretty neat too, and aren't too bight.

Cons: The cables are a bit long for my taste, but I just tend to lump the extras together in an uncrowded area of my case to open up the airflow over my motherboard.
