5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: -On Sale
-Cheap
-Semi-Modular
-Quiet

Cons: There are no cons yet, everything is working out very well

Other Thoughts: Rosewill is coming up in the world. They are cheaper than some of but still have a decent quality of products. The HIVE series is a great brand.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate of my 9/26/2012 review

Pros: In the earlier review I had assembled the basic system with lpnly the rudiments of cable management. I had other components like the gpu to add and I wanted to see that the build was stable. All the praise I gave this PSU remain the same - it is so good that it goes almost unnoticed.

One concern I had was the length of the power cables to the motherboard. Only the ATX 12V 4+4pin connector gave me a problem: its length covered the span behind the MB to its position at the top left but the stiffness of the cable made it difficult to engage the connector. It took a bit of time and more effort to make the connection. This, I think, is where a completely modular PSU enables the connection be made in that awkward position before the MB is even installed in the case. Nonetheless, the connection was made w/o extension and that's good.

The upside down nature of the SATA power cables threw me. They were irritating and placed an extra bulge to be compressed by the backside of the case but, having worked with them somewhat they don't bother me too much now.

So over 7 months of uneventful and successful operation reinforces my strongly positive view of this the 750 HIVE.

Cons: My suggestions of improvement are:

1. Add an inch or two to the ATX 12V 4+4pin connector length.

2. Upgrade the wrapping of the cables - better looks here emphasizes the quality and strength this PSU has.

3. This is a very quiet looking PSU but difficult to identify at a distance. A modest, tasteful branding of this PSU would not only make it more distinctive without becoming glaring - and it might increase its sales.

Other Thoughts: In building your own PC, the pleasure of assembling your choice of components into an computer that actually works is hard to beat. After the build is done, the builder must then enjoy the operation of the machine and have confidence in each of the components in its continued successful operation.

In my build I find that I have the most confidence in the I7 - 2600K and the 750 HIVE. So I recommend the HIVE.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: Good Price. Handles everything I've thrown at it.
AMD 7850, 2 really large HDs, 16 gigs of ram, 6 case fans and aftermarket cpu cooler.
Good 12 volt rail size
Modular cables

Cons: Motherboard cable not quite long enough for "tucked away" cable case management method.
PCI Express cable twice as long as needed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product for the price, so far

Pros: Low heat output (though my rig is fairly old to start). $76 with tax and sale coupon. All cables are modular (except the 24-pin power). Comes with PCIe cables, 2 are 6-pin, another 2 or 6+2-pin. Separate cables for molex and fan headers. Great purchase. *bought to replace old PSU that was HOT and crapped out*

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: well thought out cables, was able to reach all points in a full size case

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: came with everything needed - consistent quality with Rosewill psu's - haven't kept track but this is probably the 4th or 5th one I've put in a pc and haven't replaced one yet!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works, it's quiet. came with ties.

Cons: The 12v rails going to the motherboard are a little short for a bottom-mounted PSU case, I couldn't run the cables behind the motherboard due to this. Had to go straight up the side around the video card. That's the only con, and it's pure aesthetic so I'm not taking an egg off for that.

4 out of 5 eggsPleased Overall

Pros: Overall I am pleased with the purchase of the PSU for my first full build. The construction seems well and operates quietly.

Cons: The main power connector (20+4) did not fully attach to my motherboard. I attached it to the best of my ability all the while feeling like my motherboard was going to snap. I feel that this PSU was designed for a top mount PS build. I opted for a bottom mount case and the secondary power supply cable is stretched to its max.

Other Thoughts: I would purchase this product again and/or recommend to someone else. Just attach the 20+4 before mounting your motherboard in the case and opt for a top mount power supply to avoid the potential of stretching the secondary power cord to its max.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!

Pros: I got it for only $70 but the normal $90 is totaly worth it. The modular design is great and it comes with a nice little zipper bag for the wires you don't use. It comes with everything I needed, including the crews! XD

Cons: IDK it might be hard to clean maybe and it looks like there's some glue in it maybe to reduce vibration.

Other Thoughts: I would definatly reccomend this to people. It's cheap but a big 750w 80+ bronze.

5 out of 5 eggsNot completely modular, but that's the norm.

Pros: The cables that come with it were long enough for my full size NZXT Phantom case, which is something that I was worried about.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: Just like any "modular" psu I've owned in the past, there are a few wires with a hard-connection. The one that I'm not using, is easily pushed out of the way, and almost out of sight. -not really a con, as it's the norm.
