Pros: Drop dead simple to stuff a hard drive into it, plug in & go. Great price, usual fast Newegg shipping.

Cons: Others have stated this type enclosure "gets hot". Not so far, but haven't worked this drive that much so far.

Pros: Very simple design and the quality is very good. I was impress and it worked right out of the box. I've own a few enclosures and this one I really like and plan in the future to purchase again.

Waste of Money

Pros: Low cost - mounting method is sturdy

Cons: Under my Windows 7 64-bit system is kept disconnecting itself and reconnecting - doing this several times without the filesystem being unmounted properly caused the entire filesystem to become corrupted - destroying 100+GB worth of data that was on the drive that I put into the enclosure. It's nothing I couldn't live without, but still a huge letdown.
