4 out of 5 eggsGreat KVM

Pros: Great KVM with small footprint.

Cons: The cable to the switch button is really thin. If it breaks you have to buy a new unit.

Other Thoughts: Other than the cable for the switch been really thin this unit works great

4 out of 5 eggsbob's pretty much ur uncle

Pros: It works hasn't stop working for at least a couple of years. It doesn't take up to much desktop space. The cable are a fine matte black colour.

Cons: Wire for the switch and the switch itself don't look or feel durable. But they have failed me.

Other Thoughts: KVM switchs if they don't work right can be a waste of money and patience. If you look at the reviews you will see their a more than a few that aren't great. I bought this before it was rebranded, it's an aten product. I have used all the ports but now only use it for a K switch but have never had a problem with it. And it has to be at least 2 years old. I had a Lynksys PS/2 switch before and it looked more robust had more features and was as durable but it was also 4x the price.
The only thing I would change would be the thin wired switch.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid KVM

Pros: Good KVM. Havent had any problems out of it yet. Switching between PCs is smooth and there is no keyboard/mouse lag when switching.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: It does what it's supposed to do. It allows me to work on 2 machines with the 'click' of a button.

Cons: I dropped an egg for one reason. The 'switch' cord is paper thin. It's thinned than a USB cable. I'm always making sure it's no where near where I'm working as a tug looks like it will sever it. Also, this wire does not have a plug, it's a hardwire into the unit. If you cut this wire, the unit is pretty useless.

Other Thoughts: They should do one of either: make the switch wire more rugged or make it easily replaceable.

5 out of 5 eggsHardware switch, Wooo!

Pros: I prefer this over many of the software switches I've used in the past. Works well with a little lag to be expected as the system have to recognize the hardware. I am not using the video as I have my monitor hooked up to both computers, so I cannot rate that. Bought two of them to use in our office because my fellow tech and I are learning Linux more in depth with a major roll-out coming soon and set up a few junkers to work in. Neither have had any failures or problems and worked right out of the box.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfect

Pros: Works as designed. Has a button that has about 3 feet of length so the KVM can be behind the desk.

Cons: KVM cables from the KVM to each computer are a little shorter than I would like for my personal setup.
But the description of product is accurate.

Other Thoughts: Very good product. I plan to buy more of this brand in the future for my home network/test lab.

5 out of 5 eggsinexpensive but with Rosewill quality

Pros: has worked flawlessly, and was very inexpensive. better than anything at this price, which is Rosewill's strength. I buy from Rosewill frequently, and have never been disappointed.

Cons: it doesn't dance. Ok, it could have a DVI video output, but I don't either, so let's not judge it harshly.

3 out of 5 eggsoverall works well, but the usb cords are too short

Pros: generally works as designed, used with win 8, ubuntu, mint, and win 7 on a variety of older and newer machines with usb 2 & 3. displays 1600x1200 fine

Cons: Biggest negative is the usb cords are about an inch or two short for my dell m4600 laptop - the vga connector is right in the middle on the back of the laptop and the only usb connector is on the sides. I can either plug in the usb or the vga connector, but not both at the same time.

I'm not a fan of the button to switch, I'd rather have keystrokes. If there is a button, would be nice to show which one is active on it, rather than the module that is usually hidden behind the desk/computer.

4 out of 5 eggsworks well. i'm very happy.

Pros: i just wanted to write this to let you all know that this works well. it takes a few seconds to switch back and forth but it's always worked. i only use it to switch a wireless keyboard/mouse back and forth b/w two PC's. i don't use the vga cables. i like the button to switch back and forth with because it has a pretty long cable for you to place the little button where every you want for convenience.

Cons: haven't experienced anything bad so far
