Pros: This device does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use it in a repair shop to work on multiple computers from a single desktop. It has been working well for several months now, switching between devices is quick and sure, never a problem.
Cons: No complaints
Other Thoughts: There are two issues that come up consistently while using this. First, it's hard to tell immediately which device you have just switched to. The unit has lights, but because of the rats-nest of cabling, the bit with the lights can't be on the desk and must be on the floor. This could really be helped by a beep (1 beep for device 1, 2 for 2, etc.). Second, since I use it every day to plug in new machines, I wish the cables were colour-coded so I knew immediately which ones I had in my hand. Now that I think of it, I'll do this myself with a bit of tape.

Pros: Works very well. 4 ports, USB, includes audio. This thing doesn't choke and crash like my PS/2 KVM did. It doesn't mess up the keyboard repeat rate either. For the price you can't beat it.
Cons: Cables are too short, and it manages to be a rat's nest anyway. Not a lot you can do about that, but hopefully they'll come up with something eventually. The control button is on a long enough cord to mitigate the short cable problem, as long as all the computers you want to control are near each other.
Other Thoughts: I got this to replace a cheap PS/2 KVM that had annoying misfeatures and was crashing on me. It does that job and then some. This thing works very well, and the issues are minor.

Rating: 5/5"Egg"Cellent Value!
Pros: Worked out of the box. Matched up to a Cicero Multimedia Keyboard, Logitech Trackball, V7 22" Monitor W/ Embedded Speakers, & Gigabyte Mobo's.
Unlike some others, cable length was perfect for us. The one second or less delay between switching is not a major shortcoming.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: NEWEGG ROCKS AS ALWAYS!

Rating: 5/5Does what it is supposed to do...
Pros: -Works out of the box -Easy little button to switch computers with a long cord -O.S. Beeps when I am switching through computers when I get to one that is connected (using 2) -Using Windows 7 Pro64bit & Windows Vista-Business 64bit
Cons: -Cable lengths could be 1-3 feet longer and they would be perfect -Still cycles through the 2 unused connections -VGA Connectors but I knew that when I bought it
Other Thoughts: People need not give bad reviews for features that are clearly defined in the description/picture of the item. -You cannot disconnect unused cables. -Audio/Mic support is a good feature stop complaining about not being able to disconnect them -Rosewill makes decent products that are not going to be the best but they function well and so far have held up & worked for me.

Rating: 1/5Useless
Pros: Cheap, audio connectors, switch button
Cons: Would not work with two desktops running Windows XP Short cabling Unused cables can't be detached
Other Thoughts: Bought it to replace the old Iogear PS2 KVM box. Right out of the box the monitor would go blank when I switched from one machine to another. 50% of the time, when I boot the first computer the monitor would remain blank and the only way to fix it was to remove all the connections and put them back. It simply does not work!

Rating: 5/5Awesome KVM for the price
You either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
Pros: 1. has 2 USB connectors to each computer. booth clearly labeled. one for mouse, one for keyboard. 2. gets its power from the USB on the computer 3. the switch to change screens has a long long cable 4. the VGA, USB, USB, Headphone, Microphone are all contained in one cable 5. works with my mouse bluetooth receiver
Cons: 1. the KVM cables are a tad short. not enough to loose an egg over 2. This purchase is for a build at work. (i want to take it home)
Other Thoughts: IMPORTANT!!!! This device emulates the mouse and the keyboard on their own independent USB Plug. This is GREAT!! most cheap KVM's use one USB per computer. this is based on a USB hub theory. this is bad because the machine has to be all the way up and running for the usb hub drivers to load. this uses direct connections between the HID hardware and the selected computer. this is an AWESOME KVM switch.
I will be purchasing one for my home use. This KVM has more and better features then ones twice the price.
P.S. sticks to the wall good with the Command Adhesive Strips and Wire Clips

Rating: 4/5No Problems Here
Pros: I didn't even have to reboot my computers to install this thing (Windows 7 x64 on one computer and CentOS 5.4 Linux on another)! I have 2 custom built ASUS motherboard based computers. I removed an old PS2 KVM and replaced it with this so I could use the USB Logitech G15 keyboard (Amazing keyboard that worked great with this KVM).
Cons: I hid the main part of the KVM under my desk and have the switching button on my desk. I can't really see the lights on the KVM to see which one of the 4 computers I have active. It would have been nice if the switching button had an indicator on it for which computer connection I am using.
Why can't the audio cables be optionally detached?
Why can't 1 USB cable be used per computer for keyboard and mouse?
Why can't cables be detached for computer connections being unused?
The KVM should come with a male audio cable for the microphone and headphone jacks.
Why can't any manufacturer properly design a KVM that works for under $50??!
Other Thoughts: I am using a KINGWIN KW-02 mouse with the KVM and having no problems.

Rating: 1/5Unreliable with Linux
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Consistently fails with Linux boxes. Switch to another port, then back to Linux, and suddenly the mouse and keyboard don't work. /var/log/messages has WEIRD messages relating to the switch back.
Other Thoughts: This is gathering dust as I look for someone with only Windows/Mac boxes who can use it.

Rating: 3/5NOT Dead after 6 months
Pros: Well, I just wrote review that it died after six months... my bad. It's seems to be powered from 1 of the PCs connected. I think #1. So if that one is OFF... then it won't work. I don't see how I can update my review?
Cons: The fact that it really is powered by one connector is probably standard stuff... but not great. Also, I have found that the Keyboards and mice are always lost. Especially on VMs. I have 2 intel mac minis and tow Pentium 4 XP machines connected.

Rating: 1/5Dead after 6 months
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Totally dead after 6 months. Even before it died it was unable to keep Mouse, keyboard connections between Macs and PCs... you would always lose one or the other. Forget about VMs.
