Rosewill DER-A400 Continuous 400W ATX12V v2.01 DELL Replacement Power Supply

Pros: 1. 4 SATA power connectors
2. PCIe power connector as well
3. 400watt
4. Just good for Dell

Cons: 1. It is discontinued

Pros: Fit into my older Dell PC as easy as the original came out. The screw holes aligned perfectly. My original Dell Power Supply did not have an on/off switch on the back. I was looking for a power supply that also did not so I would not have to modify my case. This one fit just as well as the OEM.

Cons: I installed this power supply today. As of this moment, I do not have any cons.

Other Thoughts: Other reviews have stated that this power supply is louder than they wanted. In my opinion, it is not any louder than the OEM power supply that was in my Dell. However, I honestly thought the original was a little loud so maybe I'm simply used to it. I do not find it to be annoying or excessive.

Pros: Works great in my Dell 9100 and is a good value.

Cons: A little bit louder than the Dell power supply it replaced.

Cons: This power supply isn't even compatible with my computer. The description said it would work for my model, but it's missing a plug so buying this was useless. To return it, I have to pay shipping back which i think is ridiculous because the the description on the website said it would work with my computer and it doesn't. Will not buy from this site ever again.

Pros: The PSU is more powerful than the one that I had in my Dell.

Cons: This thing is loud. Even when the PC is doing nothing, the Power Supply is loud. It is so loud you can hear it across the room.

Other Thoughts: Recently purchased a 750 corsair for another PC. It is blissfully quiet.

Pros: Replaced a bad PSU with this, and got more than bargained for. More connectors, and more options for expandability in a Dell Studio

Cons: With more connectors, it can make it hard for cable management, but the case that I put this into had a convenient unused floppy slot that I stuffed some of the cables into

Other Thoughts: This was for a customer's Dell Studio, and while the studio is not listed as a replacement model, it works just fine

Pros: Great tech support before ordering, received delivery in less than 24 hours from ordering using UPS 3rd Day rate! Power supply fit like a glove, powered up and all is running well.

Pros: Have repaired three Dells in the past few months, and this unit is the ideal replacement P/S as it actually fits several Dell models. Have had absolutely no callbacks on this Rosewill. Very easy to install after disassembling the computer.

Pros: I purchased for a computer that I was repair for a lady in our church. The power supply is powerful enough to handle the jobs on this older computer and fits the Dell case perfectly. The selections of cables was also good. And since she did not have much money the price was good as well.

Cons: It was a little louder than I would have liked. There is no off switch.
