4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: semi modular and good build quality and has most of the bells and whistles.

Cons: should be gold or platinum certified for the price and fully modular and maybe 50c rated mine last one died at about 2 years and 3 months and just before dying the psu fan stated making a whistle or whining sound.

Other Thoughts: This PSU is getting old and there are many others that are are gold and platinum cert with a higher thermal limit and much longer warranty although they cost slightly more for the platinum psu but they are well worth it

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent PSU

Pros: Runs cool & quiet, especially for 1,000W output. Modular cable design makes cable management much easier (though I expect that will vary from case to case). I have a Cooler Master HAF Stacker w/two add-on additions (one on top & one below) which makes cable management a breeze. Highly recommend this product for the mid-level PC builder.

Cons: The price. It was a little more than I had intended to pay but after reading some reviews I went ahead & purchased it. Should have waited for a sale but I needed immediately. Probably could have gone with less power but my GPU is power hungry & driving 3 desktop monitors, so the little extra bump in wattage seemed like a happy medium. Going any higher than 1,000W (say 1,200W) and the $ skyrockets for a good quality unit.

Other Thoughts: One more thing I wasn't crazy about but it's got nothing to do w/performance in any way. The unit has a blue LED fan & there's no easy way to replace it w/a different fan if you want to.That's just a personal preference however. If the fan had to be colored, I would have liked it to be white so it actually illuminated the interior. The blue light doesn't do that at all. Again, that's just a personal preference of mine and in no way effects the PSU's performance.

5 out of 5 eggsIts a power supply...

Pros: Works great and has never shutdown. No issues so far

Cons: None that I can tell

Other Thoughts: The power supply will continue to run for about 30-45 seconds after you shut down the pc for some reason. My guess is to kool it off before it shuts down completely so don't think you got a lemon when this happens.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Support

Pros: -good price for a 1000 watt psu
-great support
-modular

Cons: -main connector is a little short
-my original product became defectective after 2 years and 11 months of service
-blue led is a bit off color compared to most

Other Thoughts: Although my original product became defective, Rosewill supoort allowed me to purchase a new psu and issue a full refund for my defective unit. I ended up buying the same psu again because of this great support

5 out of 5 eggssweet running and cool running

Pros: works for about any model build with eith dual nvida of dual crossfire setup with built-in video card HD VGA,DVI,HDMI audio and video 4000 on motherboard both modular and up to date standards and power fluxuation built in to power supply on regulars in power supply in a black box configuration. I am using both the standard wire and modular set-up to make all the devices work I have in the case. It is a must for maximum business and maximum gaming both on the same system.

Cons: Because it used in a bottom case type server you need a great cord restrain holder that can't let the power cord get kicked around or out by people waking to close of heavy building vibration

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for 5 years

Pros: Lasted more than 4 years before the fan died and over heated the power supply. I replaced the fan as a temp measure till I can buy what I really want for a power supply. The best part is I salvaged a case fan and the power supply is doing great under with that salvaged fan. Been running it for 4+ months with the salvaged fan with no issues.

Cons: Cooling fan died around 4-5 year mark. The case fan I used doesn't quit fit perfectly and this power supply uses a odd fan size. Still haven't quite figured out what size to order to replace the fan.

Other Thoughts: Over all the price was great, I got 4-5 years out of it before I had to do anything to fix it. and the power supply didn't fry anything when the fan died that cools it. It just shut the whole computer off when i was using it. I am so great full that they had the foresight to have the auto power off on over heat feature with this power supply. Once I figured out what the problem was it was easy to generate a quick fix and am still using this product today. Over all great power supply for the money. I would buy it again.

1 out of 5 eggs1 4+4 12v connector

Pros: Everything seems to work with it except the con.

Cons: The 1 4+4 12v connector doesn't seem to work with my 4 pin cpu connector. The 24pin seems to power up my mother board, gpu, and all fans and LEDs but won't power up my cpu and boot into bios. Going to get my younger brother to come by this week and help take a look at it with me then probably try and RMA for another. Unless they're just not compatible with 4 pin cpu connectors for some reason.

Other Thoughts: I know I should've plugged in the 4-pin and 24-pin first to see if it'd boot up before unplugging all my old psu cords to everything and redoing everything and routing and tying everything down first. BUT I didn't. I did all that then tried to boot up. Don't make my same mistake. lol
