4 out of 5 eggsRosewill 1000w

Pros: - No coil wine
- Looks good
-Great Price
-Runs cool
-Solid build
-quiet fan
-good price

Cons: Under Specifications it states "PCI-Express Connector- 3 x 6-Pin, 3 x 6+2-Pin"

I only received two 6 pins and two 6+2 pin cables. I now can not setup my CrossFire. I purchased this PSU for the simple fact it's a great price and it stated " SLI & CrossFire Ready" I am vary disappointed and hopeful I can receive the missing cables.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth It

Pros: The blue light is a great touch
No Issues so far with performance even with two graphic cards.
Reliable, reasonable energy consumption

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have a two Geforce cards (GeForce 550 Ti and GTX 970), in addition to the full required parts to run a PC and through each use of gaming sessions and daily use it has not failed me. I enjoy the blue lighting, its a nice touch.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall Very Good

Pros: - 4 12v rails is absolutely amazing
- No coil wine
- Enough PCI-E connectors to support SLI with cards that have 6-pin connectors
- Looks great
- Great Price

Cons: - CPU connector is to short to be cable managed in a full size ATX case, My CM Storm Stryker came with an extension so I was able to cable manage it.
-It is semi modular. Wish it was fully modular so I could replace the cables for better color matching

Other Thoughts: Not really a pro or a con. But as you can see in the picture it comes with a blue LED in the fan so if you're not running a blue color scheme in your system you are kind of just dealing with it. I have mine oriented fan side down so the color of the LED doesn't really affect my color scheme much.

4 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: A good amount of power for the price.
Tons of extra cables... I mean TONS... Unnecessary amount of extra cables...
Runs cool.

Cons: I would've enjoyed only have the common ATX MB power connectors on the main harness. It was slightly difficult to route thick loom through my case. I ended up not using some of the connectors in the harness and using the included connectors (in the rosewill pouch) for connecting my graphics driver card power. That's where the -1 egg came from.

Other Thoughts: If they can exclude most of the power components for accessories (HDD/SSD/Other Drives) out of the main harness and including them in the bag, installation would have gone alot easier. But I'm happy with the PSU and I am using another PSU by rosewill in another case and has served me well over the years. Wouldn't go with a different brand.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes it's Job.

Pros: Great Price.

Cons: The cpu power connector is too short for full atx cases. You will have to buy an extender wire. Everything else provided was great.

Other Thoughts: I would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsStill running

Pros: Bought mine in 2010 and still running strong.
Got mine while it was on sale since it was a 1000w PSU and was running SLI at the time. Honestly wasn't sure what to expect as I had never really used Rosewill, but after 4 years with no issues I'll look at them again.

Never had issues with noise or anything else.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: For the price I believe if your wanting a 1000w PSU give this a shot and I think you'll be happy with it.

3 out of 5 eggsVery Loud, but works.

Pros: The power supply has been with me for more than a year now with now hiccups.
No coil noises, no surges, nothing. But as the year went on I upgrade all my fans to the noctua nf-f12 and boy the psu is so loud! I can easily hear it through my noise canceling headphones from across the room! I just got rid of it a few days ago and upgraded to a passive cooled psu.

Cons: loud
