1 out of 5 eggsAnother failed Rosewill power supply

Pros: Heavy. Sturdy. Looks substantial. Cables are beefy

Cons: Failed after a cumulative 1 year of use.

Other Thoughts: This is one of six Rosewill power supplies I bought before I knew better. In my experience, Rosewill power supplies have a 100% failure rate when just out of warranty. After my others failed weeks after warranty expiration, I became leery of the brand and pulled this one after six months of use. It sat on a shelf until recently, when I put it into a test-bed system on which important work isn't done. While the power supply was long out of warranty, the cumulative use this unit received was less than a year. This week, four years after purchase but with less than twelve months of total usage, the power supply went pop, and hissed, and stopped. It smelled awful. It was dead. Never again will I buy a Rosewill power supply.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: Cheap
Works
80+ Bronze

Cons: Not Modular

Other Thoughts: I've had this power supply for 2 months now with no issues cables were long enough for my case (S340) otherwise the only complaint I have is that its not modular but $50 for a 630 watt isn't bad. If it ever fails i"ll let you know ;)

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: CHEAP

Cons: Let's see. Bought this thing hooked it up and was great for about 2 weeks then decided to start causing all sorts of issues. Power surges to my motherboard mainly, then causing my graphics card to crash randomly and just failing in general. Computer wouldn't turn on etc etc.

Other Thoughts: CHEAP. I will not be buying another Rosewill PSU my own experience combined with the other reviews.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap and moderately useful

Cons: Burns out. First one I got was flawed out of the box, kept shorting out. The replacement lasted about a year and then began to do the same.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price for a great PSU

Pros: This is a cheap but effective PSU. It provides more than enough power for my rig (including OC'd CPU, RAM, and GPU). The cabling is separated in neatly covered in mesh which greatly helps with cable management.;

Cons: N/A

3 out of 5 eggsLasted 3 years, decent unit. Cannot handle over 500 watts of usage anymore

Pros: Lasted 3 years for a medium gamer level of usage. Not bad for $60.00

Cons: It lasted for 3 years on a 450 watt usage system. I just built a new PC, and the watt usage is around 500, and the thing cannot power all of my components. It worked for a day, but now my LED fan will not light up, and it cannot power my USB 3.0 section. I am going to put it back in my old pc where it worked. This is the first time I tried a brand outside of Corsair, and I just bought a new corsair power supply.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Good variety of plugs for custom builds

Cons: Does not always turn on, have to unplug and plug back in from the outlet to get it to boot....real PITA.

Other Thoughts: overall when its on it works just a PSU should, just needs the cold booting fixed.
