2 out of 5 eggsFailed after 18 mos.

Pros: Worked for a while

Cons: Sporadic crashes - avg 3 a week - after about two years.

Other Thoughts: After about 18 mos, started getting power event crashes, first monthly, then up to 3 a week after another year. I had tried different outlet, different circuit, borrowed a UPS - no luck. Replaced with different brand and all fixed. Not a high load computer; Intel I7 but no extra video cards. Mostly Photoshop.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat price, works good

Pros: On sale for $45, $20 rebate brings the total to $25. Couldn't go wrong with the price.

I was replacing a 930W 6 year old Rosewill PSU that was running 24/7. It was oversized and covered in dust, likely leading to the failure. My computer started crashing under load, after ruling out CPU or Videocard, it lead to the PSU.

The new 630W PSU arrived in 3 days and fired right up. It has been running 24/7 for a week now without issue.

Cons: One minor con is 4-pin peripheral cords do not have the mesh sleaving to the end, only to the first connector. I wouldn't think anything of it, but the sleaving was full on the old PSU I was removing. Doesn't affect my rating since the spaced out 4-pin connectors keep the wires from separating and being a mess.

Another con would be the sata power connectors were upside down, a drawback for a bottom mounted PSU. I used all 3 on one strand for DVD / HD / HD. Each needed to be twisted upside down, but there was enough slack in the cable I was able to make the twist for each device and get everything hooked up. Removed one egg for the sata connectors being upside down.

Other Thoughts: Mail in rebate is in progress. I've read previous complaints about the timeliness of the MIR delivery, but i'm in no rush and I'm satisfied with the product operation.

3 out of 5 eggsMade it just out of warranty

Pros: Ran 24/7 for two years.

Cons: Can't supply enough power for even moderate gaming now.

Other Thoughts: This worked well for the majority of the time that I've had it. Within the past few months I've had an issue where the PC would shut down when gaming. It seems that this CPU can no longer supply the power needed by my system under heavy load.
