4 out of 5 eggsRMA - All turned out OK

Pros: It works fine.
Cable for CPU power long enough for ATX mid tower housing to go to tower's cable compartment on the other side (not beneath MB) ....not too much extra but enough.

Cons: Instructions too brief.

Other Thoughts: I bought it and it did not seem to have voltages. Did RMA. What I forgot about was that these power supplies do not turn on most voltages until the PC is connected and turned on. If yours does not seem to work before installation...INSTALL IT. Feel stupid. Just wish I could retract the previous low (1 egg) rating I gave it before.

5 out of 5 eggsPlain jane performs

Pros: -Single 12V rail is dependable and robust.
-Matte black finish is classy.
-Mesh wrapped cables slide well and all connectors are sturdy and well made.

Cons: -At this price point, there frankly aren’t any.

NEVER buy a power supply that isn't a single rail. They die. They fry your components.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Budget PSU

Pros: I picked these up at a seriously discounted price for a generic 2U virtualization lab build out. Reasonable build quality (see cons), quiet, good packaging.

Cons: Molex connectors aren't the highest quality. I was installing Antec and Thermaltake PSUs along side these and I could tell a difference when plugging fans up to the molex connectors. One of the PSUs (out of 4) also had a loose AC plug receptacle.

Other Thoughts: I would buy these at the discounted price again without hesitation, but I likely wouldn't pay full price and I wouldn't use them in a high power desktop build.

5 out of 5 eggsbest psu under 50?

Pros: Great PSU. Im using it in my gaming rig with a mid range processor and video card. It runs cool, almost no hot air coming out of it. Its 80 plus certified of course. Has black sleeved cable for a clean, organized case. Cables are long enough and have a lot of connections.

Cons: none so far, wish i had a modular one though but thats just nitpicking

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: 80 PLUS Certified, Active PFC, Very quiet 120mm temperature controlled fan, small size works well in smaller microATX cases.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Provides plenty of power for a system with an Intel i5-3570K processor, 8GB of DDR3 1600 memory, 2 Western Digital 7200 RPM 1GB Black hard drives in RAID 1 array, 60GB mSata SSD, ASUS 24x DVD burner and a Roswill 74 in 1 memory card reader. UPS software indicates power usage is usually below 100 watts, and never exceeds 110 watts.
