5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Works nicely in my HTPC. Noise levels are within expected levels. No technical issues so far.

Cons: It was a tight fit in my HTPC in that power cables went into the power supply in a bad spot for my case. That may be unique to my case however. This PSU was much larger physically and power wise than the one that original shipped with the case, so I knew it was going to be a tight fit.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend to others...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat power suppy!!!

Pros: Quality rosewill psu. Read below.

A computer I built in 2008, a AMD AM2 FX 3800 Dual core overclcked to 2.8ghz from 2.0ghz, 8gb memory ddr2, biostar motherboard, and 4 hard drives, dvd burner, and a power hungry Nvidia GTX 295 core edition, overclocked like crazy. Also the rosewill 430 watt power supply.

I sold this system to a friend way back. And the same rosewill powersupply is still running very strong!!!!

Rosewill makes great products!!

The psu in it, is a Rosewill 430watt. The computer pulls a steady 489watts under full gaming load.

This powersupply is more than capable of the 500watts all day long. It has been running like this for almost 6 years!! pulling 60 more watts then what it is rated for.

NO NOISE, no buzzing!! no nothing!!

JUST A VERY SOLID CHEAP, but quality made psu!!!

I would trust it anyday for even the most expensive hardware

Cons: no sleeving. But the wires have black connectors it least.

5 out of 5 eggs3+ Years and still running

Pros: Built my first gaming pc in 2011 this was my first psu , has been rock solid but i upgraded my system over the years and i had to get a more powerful psu with more wattage so this psu sat on the shelf for 6+ months but now i have a server and this psu is powering it, im surprised how good this psu is dispite its brand name , i currently have two of these, one running a desktop pc and the other running my server

Cons: its $49 now.....when i bought this in 2011 it got it for $39

Other Thoughts: this will run a system with decent specs just nothing over the top such has and i7 with a gtx 690 or R7990, this will run an i5 with a 7870 or a 6970

Highly recommended this PSU

4 out of 5 eggsRMA - All turned out OK

Pros: It works fine.
Cable for CPU power long enough for ATX mid tower housing to go to tower's cable compartment on the other side (not beneath MB) ....not too much extra but enough.

Cons: Instructions too brief.

Other Thoughts: I bought it and it did not seem to have voltages. Did RMA. What I forgot about was that these power supplies do not turn on most voltages until the PC is connected and turned on. If yours does not seem to work before installation...INSTALL IT. Feel stupid. Just wish I could retract the previous low (1 egg) rating I gave it before.
