Rosewill SL-300TFX 300W TFX12V Power Supply - OEM

Pros: Purchased two of these on two different occasions back January of this year. Both are workng fine. Bought them to replace aging/failing units in cases (purchased from the EGG) that were/are 4 + years old.

Cons: none to speak of!

Other Thoughts: These style of units are rather hard to find, so consumers are limited as to what wattage to choose from.

Pros: I have two of these running just fine in 2 pcs for over a year now. Very quiet. Runing Asrock fm1 itx board, A8-3800apu,8gigs 1600mhz ram,xfx gddr5 6670,500 gig 7200rpm hdd, standard dvd drive, and big cooler.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: If you get one that does not work send it back and they will give you another one. cheap enough to order an extra.you get what you pay for.

Pros: It at least work for a little while better than some people reviewed it as dead when they got it.

Cons: Poor quality never lasted long on a computer that was only
used once a week.

Other Thoughts: Never buy a case that take a odd size power supply.

Pros: None I can think of.

Cons: Does not power up.

Other Thoughts: Wish I could give this 0 stars. Bought the matching case that had the same model power supply about a year ago. Unit never did boot. Bought this power supply as a replacement, won't even power on. I connected a spare power supply, one that does not fit in this case, and the computer boots fine. I guess shame on me for not trying that sooner. RMA'ing this unit this week. 3rd product in a row from Rosewill in the past 30 days that was defective. Won't be buying any more of their products.

Pros: Very quiet and hard to find form factor. The design is very nice and I like the sound levels.

Cons: Reliabilty issues.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this on Sep 23. Today is Nov 4 so it's been 6 weeks and today the power supply fan died, my machine overheated and shut down. Quiet fan, good...no fan, not good.

Pros: Quiet. When it blew it just stopped working and did not take any other components out with it.

Cons: Blew after about a year, purchased on 12/5/2010 it stopped working today (02/27/2012).

Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply to replace a power supply in an htpc. It's a good thing I kept the original so a I had relatively little down time.

Pros: Fit the case, and works! the old one went out, first funny-shaped PS I've had to buy, will buy again if I have a need.

Cons: None

Pros: Worked for a while. Wasn't DOA.

Cons: Failed after 5 months.

Other Thoughts: No even half decent power supply should fail that early.

Pros: None really. Usually I can say Newegg shipping was speedy, but in this case delivery took a week. The power supply is trash...

Cons: Okay, the unit was DOA, which sometimes happens and isn't a big deal. What upset me so much about this one was the power supply I recieved was clearly a used item. The factory warranty seal was torn indicating someone had been inside the unit. The wires were damaged and the fan blades had enough dust on their leading edges to indicate it's been running for awhile in someone's desktop. Now if I had paid for a used or remanufactured item then so be it, but this thing is advertised as a new PSU and it clearly isn't...

Pros: its cool, and runs very quiet. perfect for low profile MicroATX builds. Used to replace a factory PSU in my aunt's PC from 2007. it has been running great since 09 and hasn't quit since. It also does get quite a bit of use.

Cons: On 1 occasion, the fan came ajar and made a vibrating noise. A few good hits to the power supply and it quieted back down. Nothing too significant. Needless to say it is still cooling as it should---quietly.

Other Thoughts: 25 bucks, small, cool, and quiet. All you could ever ask for in a MicroATX PSU. Good buy from Newegg.
