Cons: It runs hot. The ports are too close together and interfere with thumb drives etc. It started dropping ports so I would shuffle the sticks around. I never had more than 3 memory sticks plugged in but when I had about 6 plugged in to consolidate storage on a new drive the hub went dead. And I lost all data on all the sticks.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and buy a better brand.

Cons: Instructions are sparse, but fortunately not really needed.
USB ports very close together, but design allows for most wider plugs to still fit next to each other.

Other Thoughts: This allows multiple devices, including external hard drives that could be power-hungry, to be connected to your computer's USB port. Because it has its own power, it does not tax the computer's system. All devices should be this easy to connect and immediately begin using.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this unit to be part of a homemade flight deck. The board was removed from the plastic case and was fastened to an internal control board. The powered ports are very convenient since they allow to control the devices to be on or off regardless of being plugged in.In this case, Saitek FIPs
