4 out of 5 eggsRHB-520 USB Hub

Pros: Works just as expected. Has enough power to run what I need with it without issue.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: kind of wish the ports were a little farther apart than they are but they work for most applications.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works as should, even my Raspberry Pi detects this. Have even used it with a ASIC usb mining build. Love it.

Cons: No main off switch, only toggles for 1-6 and 7-10.

5 out of 5 eggsRock solid powered hub perfect for USB bitcoin miners

Pros: Compatible with the Bitcoin USB miners, Block Erupter Sapphires. Switch that can turn on & off 4 of the 10 ports. Has 2 indicator LED's showing when the unit is powered or not. Adequate 3.5 amp power adapter (unlike many Chinese adapters boasting 2.5amps) sturdy yet compact construction.

Cons: Doesnt hold me at night. Would be nice if power adapter was 5 amp allowing for all 10 ports to be used for the bitcoin miners but this fact is null.

Other Thoughts: I should of bought more of these as I see the price has sky rocketed from a few months ago. All around solid product displaying how Rosewell is pushing their standard with the big boys.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed.

Pros: Low price for a quality 10 port powered hub.
Last 4 ports can be switched off to ensure adequate power to the first six.
The size and shape are exactly what I was looking for.
There is adequate spacing between the ports for bulky connectors.

Cons: The LEDs are painfully bright, but mine is in a cabinet, so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this hub to mount in a confined space inside a computer armoire along side a new Dell XPS tower, which has 4 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back panel. I have a lot of stuff to connect, and I did not want to use the 3.0 ports, I want to save them for external hard drives. This hub works perfect for me. I have a printer, a webcam, 2 USB 2.0 external hard drives, an external fax-modem, and a 128GB flash drive plugged in with no problems after 1 full day. Since most of these devices are self powered, I'm not worried about current draw through the ports. I haven't tested the throughput of the External hard drives to see if the hub is a bottleneck, but casual observation leads me to believe it's OK. The 4 2.0 ports on the back of the computer tower now have the keyboard, the mouse, this USB hub, and another powered hub that sits just below my monitor for flash drives. Finally, a place to plug everything in, with plenty of expansion for the future.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: 10 ports
Powered
Vertical ports
Comes with decent length cable

Cons: A bit pricey at 24.99 (I bought it when it was 19.99)
Power adapter can only supply 3.5A
Has to be plugged into root hub (back of computer) to get all 10 ports to be recognized thanks to the daisy-chaining inside the hub.

Other Thoughts: It fairly easy to take apart and internal build quality is not bad.

Note this will void any warranties; to overcome the power deficiencies, I modified mine.
I desoldered the original jack and soldered in a 4-pin molex cable assembly to supply the hub with 5V and as much amperage that a computer power supply can provide.
Once modified, it worked like a charm as it was able to get enough power as needed by the USB devices I had connected.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid like the plague!

Pros: Not a one.

Cons: Dead after 2 months, power supply still puts out but the hub won't power up so I have a 3 slot usb hub that looks nice but is a floater.

Other Thoughts: too bad this goes into the trashcan with better garbage.
