5 out of 5 eggsRosewill hasn't disapointed yet

Pros: This is my second PSU from Rosewill. The first is still working fine that I bought 4 years ago. I just need something a little beefier with the new gaming rig I set up. Great Modular PSU, would recommend to anyone looking for a PSU and good pricing.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Value

Pros: At the time I purchased it, this power supply was the cheapest 650W gold certified modular power supply on newegg. It had great reviews so I purchased it and I was very happy. It came with plenty of cables and it has worked perfectly.

Cons: My car won't run on it.

5 out of 5 eggsLooking Good!

Pros: Just got this today, and although I haven't built the rig yet, I have to say excellent shipping! I ordered this yesterday and received it today, even though I chose the free shipping option.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I will update with actual performance when I get my build set up. Hoping to be sometime around July.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: Great price.
80 Plus Gold certification!! <--HUGE!
Super efficient.
Modular.

Had an old Antec NeoPower modular 480 power supply that could support my old Palit GTX 460 but could not support my new HD 7870 Tahiti GPU. Prior to the upgrade my rig would reboot when trying to run Crysis 3 or Bioshock Inifinite. So I went and pulled the trigger on this unit. Didn't want to overdue it and get a 750W or 850W and I don't see myself doing any SLI, ever. AMD and Powercolor recommended at least a 500W PSU. But given that I'm going to be overclocking my CPU and GPU, I opted for a little bit more power and a little bit more headroom. This was the best deal around. After upgrade, no reboots. Machine is running super stable.

I found the PSU to be adequate for my needs. It was priced right, only $75 after rebate. No tax and free shipping. Can't beat that for an 80 Plus Gold PSU.

The build quality is nice. The packaging is nice as well. Definitely feels like a more premium unit. It had all the connections I needed. I liked the coverings on the unused power connectors.

I used my Kill-A-Watt meter to see how much power I was actually drawing from the wall. Ran DiRT2, Batman Arkham City and Crysis 3. On all three games, I was pulling less wattage from the wall than with my previous power supply. Case in point...at idle, with my old PSU, I was pulling about 120-160W. With the new PSU, I was pulling between 75-115W. With DiRT2, set at 1920x1080p with VSYNC off and all options turned on, my previous PSU was pulling 360W. The new unit was pulling 300W. For Crysis 3, I was previously pulling 400W and eventually rebooting. With the new PSU, I was pulling about 320W. That's pretty huge. My efficiency has gone from 70% at full load to 90-92% at full load. Over a four year period, this unit will actually pay for itself.

Cons: I would have liked it if the power connectors on the PSU were labeled specifying which are to be used for accessories or PCI-E. None were labeled. So I didn't worry too much about it and went ahead and plugged in to whatever port was available.

Not really a con, but, each PCI-E cable has two 6x2 connectors on it. I was tempted to use a single cable for both 6x2 connectors on my GPU. But after thinking about it, I decided to use both cables and tuck the additional power connectors into a cubby inside my case. I was afraid too much power would be carried via this single cable and could possibly cause an issue, possibly heat up or melt. So, better to air on the safe side, I used both PCI-E cables.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome power supply, flat out works exactly as intended and costs less than most other 80 plus gold PSUs. The fan is quiet, and seems to keep everything cool enough in there. The cables all have nice sleeves that make cable management a breeze.

Cons: Cables are a little on the thick side, but that's as big a pro as it is a con for some. If your case is small it can get a little cramped, but that's just me trying to be a critic.

Other Thoughts: If you're building a computer, or upgrading your PSU, I'd highly recommend this. Only reason I'd encourage you to look at something telse would be if you need more power than the 650w this pumps out.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far a very solid PSU

Pros: This is my first review on a PSU so forgive the armature language. Got this on when is was on sale Lincoln's Day I think and you can see my system specs in other thoughts. I've run prime95 and 3d mark in loops as suggested to stress my system for 24hrs and all the parts held up well. My gaming sessions have gone smoothly so can't complain and this thing is silent literally put my head next to it to hear if the fan was spinning. All PSU should be modular not having to deal with extra wires is a heavenly. I don't overclock so can't comment on it's performance with that scenario. Not sure what else to say here other than I'm very pleased with my purchase if you can get this when it on sale go for it.

Cons: Will this hold up with a GTX 660 SLI config? We'll find out soon enough won't we (I'll update when i get another card).

Other Thoughts: Intel Core i5-3570K (stock speed)

5 out of 5 eggsBest costumer service EVER.

Pros: So I got the first one and it was DOA so I obviously RMAed it and recieved a new one today. RMA went as smooth as butter and newegg had my new unit to me in about 3 days. Anyways I didn't have a Motherboard to test it this time so I conntacted Rosewill to find an alternative way of testing they got back to me very quickly and I followed their very easy instructions to test it and what do you know the fan really is silent!
Pros:
-Very silent fan (I didnt belive my eyes and ears when it started so I had to fell the air coming out and sure enough there it was.
-I consider it fully modular cause if your not using the cords that are already attached your not building a computer
-plenty of connectors for all your needs
-80+ Gold
-Feels well built and not cheap.

Cons: I guess the manual could be more detailed in fact thats its biggest flaw. It dosent cook?

Other Thoughts: All most forgot I got it on sale for 85$. What a steal!

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far So Good

Pros: Getting consistently stable power with little measured noise or ripple. Easily powers an overclocked 3570k and GTX670 system with no issues whatsoever. Don't even notice the fan running even at high loads but you can feel some warm air being pushed out the back. Good set of cable options.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Wish the SATA cables were about 3-4 inches longer and I could have used one cable for 3 HDD and a BD drive, just couldn't make it reach so I had to use the second SATA cable. I've used Seasonic and the Corsair branded power supplies for some time and have several that are 6+ years in service and still going strong. This is a re-branded Superflower unit so I'm hopeful the quality and durability will live up to that standard. Time will tell, but so far I'm very happy.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfectly Quiet & Cool

Pros: All modular, except for the CPU and motherboard power, but you'll need that no matter what.

My power supply fits on top in a 4 year old case and the screws lined up perfectly.

Computer got noticeably quieter after installing this into my system.

I was able to use only 1 SATA power cable for both my DVD and hard drive.

The modular cables would be too short to use in a full case and route them behind the motherboard, but since I don't have that option, I appreciated not having to deal with any extra length.

Cons: None that I have in my top mounted, non-hiding cable routing case.

Other Thoughts: After I bought this for a new video card, I discovered my overall system power requirements went way down after installing the new video card. Good thing this is Gold Certified. I am only drawing 130 Watts max out the wall. I need that extra efficiency since I am now way over powered.
