1 out of 5 eggsCheaply made PSU

Pros: It worked just fine in the beginning and has plenty of cables to power all your components.

Cons: The PSU didn't last 2 years before overheating and dying. Not only did the PSU short out and die, it also shorted my motherboard and GPU. The PSU made some stuttering noises before dying.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend buying a Rosewill PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsHmpf, I like my PSU. Luck of the draw?

Pros: Simple to install, cheap. *Shrug, it;s a basic PSU

Cons: This is not an 80-Plus rated PSU and my power bill reflects that. This thing is an energy hog! It got me started and was always slotted for replacement anyway

Other Thoughts: Rosewill make great products on the cheap and sometimes they are the only ones making the varying gadgets I need for my computing life. I got this power supply with a Rosewill case that I got as a part of a Newegg computer package. It was enough to get me started and it is slated to be replaced by a Thermaltake Smart PSU.

But my unit, despite it obvious inefficiencies, has run well and will likely be sent off to "that big auction side" for another user to use.

1 out of 5 eggsThis PSU CANNOTdraw 700W. Don't buy for gaming PC.

Pros: Works (barely) fine on a low spec PC.

Cons: Overheating. It overheats with an HD6450, it will burn up and die with a higher-specs GPU. After inspecting the PSU carefully (opening it up), you can clearly see that this is definitely not a power supply which can even reach 500W without dying. Cheap capacitors, cheap (and weak) fan.

Other Thoughts: The verdict; don't buy this. Why? Well, on one hand, it WILL work for a low-specs PC. However, why purchase this when you can get a decent 400W-500W PSU? As for a gaming PC, like I said - this is NOT a 700W power supply. It can't even draw 400W without turning into a mini-oven. I mean, maybe some of you like to cook a roast while gaming? Who knows.

2 out of 5 eggsWasn't worth the price

Pros: Lasted about 1.8 years...

Cons: ...Failed without warning and blew out my GPU along with it. Nothing worse than seeing your card go braindead with fans running as fast as they can.

Other Thoughts: Look elsewhere than Rosewill.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked great

Pros: This PSU worked perfectly for three years. I never had any trouble with it. It has never been noisy or anything like that. The only times it has made noise is when I travel with desktop across the country. And when I plug it back in it has a static, scratchy noise for a few minutes after the initial boot, and goes away.

It has a good amount of spare cables and I did not have trouble with pci-express pins as I've gone through a few video cards.

Each cable is sleeved, so the cables are a bit protected. Nice in that way.

Overall, I think I may buy a Rosewill power supply again as this one lasted for 3 years (with A LOT of usage). But I'll be looking to see if I can find more energy-efficient and lasting power supplies on the market first.

Cons: The cpu power cable is barely long enough to reach from the psu's spot at the bottom of the case, to the pins at the top of the motherboard.
It ended up having to stretch across and lay on top of my large gtx 970 video card.

The sleeves on each cable makes them bulky and take up more space in my Mid-ATX case

1 out of 5 eggsDied one month after warranty

Pros: Got a ROSEWALL case, so I figured I would put in a ROSEWALL power supply. Fit like a glove, loved it! Plenty of connections, didn't need any adapters or converters. Quite fan, great power supply. Until it abruptly died!

Cons: Lasted a year and a month, to the day. And then died. Of course it had only had a one year warranty.

1 out of 5 eggsShort Lifespan

Pros: None.

Cons: Just as others have reported, the product died on me after about a year and a half of use, even though it and everything else in my computer case were cleaned of dust on a monthly basis. Last month, my computer suddenly shut off, and upon opening the case, I discovered that the power supply was very hot. After letting it cool, I attempted to turn my computer back on, but it didn't work. And of course, I'm out of the warranty period. I can only hope that the power supply's failure did not result in damage to any other components of my computer. I recommend that you buy a different brand/model.
