1 out of 5 eggs2 RMAs and no more

This review is from: Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI CrossFire Power Supply

Pros: none

Cons: First one blew up and smoked when first powered on. Sent back to newegg 4 replacement. The 2nd one lasted only one day. Sent it back for a refund.

Other Thoughts: Ending up ordering the Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W, which I should have to begin with. Have used the RG630-S12 for several builds already and it performs and lasts like a champ. This current one is performing perfectly.

3 out of 5 eggsOk, but Not great

This review is from: Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI CrossFire Power Supply

Pros: Easy to install, and it works great

Cons: The only issue I have with this PSU is the fact that one of my 6pin pice connectors is bad, good thing is that this PSU has 3 and I only need 2 for my R9 270X vid card.

1 out of 5 eggsNot happy

This review is from: Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI CrossFire Power Supply

Pros: Seemed to work fine for about 9 months

Cons: Started smelling like burnt wires and died a couple of days later with minimal use since it was smelling.

Other Thoughts: Contacted the Co., they would replace the item but it would take days or probably a couple of weeks, if you got a combo price that would be considered and you needed all the original packaging.
I could not be without computer for that time - so I went locally and bought a replacement with a one year warranty back to that store. Also I just threw away the boxes a week or so before this happened so that is my fault.....

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid Power

This review is from: Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI CrossFire Power Supply

Pros: Bought this 700W unit to replace the dying 750W power supply. Took less than 10 minutes to install in the case. It's a nice looking piece of hardware, all cable sleeved. This 700W keeps my machine running smooth again. It runs cool itself with a huge silent fan, and allows for tons of devices to hook up with many connections. A great power supply in the 700W class. This unit runs nice and quiet compare to my old 750W power supply.

Cons: Haven't found any yet.

Other Thoughts: This PSU has been running 24 hrs a day for a few weeks.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

This review is from: Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI CrossFire Power Supply

Pros: Quiet, well made quality, good airflow, adequate cable length for huge system, decent 12V output for power hungry SLI VGAs.

Cons: Should check newegg earlier before place order.... Pay higher $$$ from other website for this same PSU... :- (

Other Thoughts: I learn the lesson. Always search computer stuffs from newegg. They got the best deal for all computer parts- not even to mention when stuffs on promotion.

5 out of 5 eggsGood power supply for budget builds

This review is from: Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI CrossFire Power Supply

Pros: Very stable and dependable

Big 140mm quiet solid black fan

Considerate 20+4 pin main connector also good for old machine (with 20pin motherboard) upgrade

8 SATA connectors allow a lot more devices need

Keep cool under high energy loads

Well build and professional looking power supply

Cons: Can't thinking of any, the unit works out of the box

Other Thoughts: Much better built than most of the other PSU's I had purchased in the past for budget builds.

Best reliable 700W power supply price in the market
