A combination of HDD dock station and USB hub, the Rosewill RX309 docking station allows you to access a 2.5"/3.5" HDD/SSD and up to three USB devices via a USB 3.0 connection. You can swap data with a bare HDD/SSD up to 4TB in capacity quickly and easily, without the hassle of opening the chassis or connecting the cable. Up to three USB 3.0 ports offer blistering data rate, while providing fast charging for connected devices. The aluminum construction is lightweight yet durable, and helps with heat dissipation. For convenience and ease of operation, this model comes with a one-press backup button, a power on/off button, and LED indicators for the unit power-on indication, and the activity status for every single port.

First of all, the installation and connection is super easy and it connects to my Win 8.1 within a minutes, i did not even need to install any driver that comes with it. The push my HDD into the slot, transferred a big chunk of data without any interruption or error. The best part is the 3 USB ports, real USB 3.0, and i can finally get rid of my lousy ugly USB hub besides my monitor now, 3 ports are enough for me, and they are built in with this docking, very convenient thoughtful design.
