5 out of 5 eggsTERRIFIC

Pros: Compares favorably with 600 Watt power supplies 'cause is pumps out 20Amps on each of two rails. I run a business on this source. It's been running for over a year and it has been flawless. It still makes less noise than the ballasts in the flourescent lights. It is the only source I will ever buy.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm a Master Electrician..........This thing is REALLY impressive.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: It's sooooooooo quiet. And preeettty. Nice, long, strong cables all neatly sinched up with with zip ties (comes with extras too). And it's soooooo quiet.

Cons: None. I'm quite satisfied.

Other Thoughts: Cables take up some room but if you have an average size case you should be fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD PSU

Pros: Good build quality, nice cable layout.

Cons: That power cord is pretty silly, but if you are any respectable geek you will have 30 of them laying around.

Other Thoughts: Good power supplies have some weight to them when you hold them. This one has some weight. Scythe is a good brand of cooler so I thought I would give their other stuff a chance. This was for someone else who wouldn't be overtaxing their PSU so I hope it lasts them for a while.

5 out of 5 eggsScythe PSU`s rule.

Pros: Supplies plenty of amperage, looks cool, just a strong PSU in every way.

Cons: LOL!

Other Thoughts: Laughs in the face of my moderately powerful system...ABIT KN9 Ultra, 5600 X2 AM2, Gigabyte 7600 GS, WD 320 GB HDD, and one optical drive. You simply install this PSU & forget about it, which is how it should be, IMO. Oh, you probably won`t be able to hear it either. I also have the 400W version of this PSU powering my daughter`s PC and it`s flawless as well. At around 70 bones including shipping, I feel this is an overlooked and highly underrated bargain. If this has enough connectors and is the proper type of PSU for your build, AND you can overlook the fact that it doesn`t have Antec or TT or some other over-hyped, overrated, fanboy-type name plastered across it, you`d be doing yourself a big favor by getting one of these babies.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Power Supply

Pros: If you are looking for an absolutely silent power supply, that has accurate and consistent power, this is it. When it comes to reviews by others, I always have to take them with a grain of salt, because they are unique to each. If you are like me, someone with extremely sensitive hearing, and needs to have an absolutely silent machine, rest assured, this is the power supply for you. The supply is well made, and quite heavy which typically is a sign of better components and (as I have tested) a more consistent/accurate power supply. This supply has ample power points, including the PCIe power connector. All cables are ample in length, and the cable sheath makes for a clean and clutter free case, allowing for better air circulation.

Cons: There are only two cons that I could see with this power supply, and neither are really cons of the supply itself. One, unless you live in an old home that has not been rewired in the last 40 years, and therefore you have no grounded outlets, throw away the included AC cable, and use a standard grounded cable. As you can see from the picture on Newegg, it is a two prong with a pig tail ground. Who needs this anymore…(at least not in the U.S.)? Two, there are only two SATA power points on this supply, so if you plan to install this in a large tower with more than two SATA hard drives, you may want to purchase additional pig tail converters that can transition a few of the, more than ample, Molex power connectors to SATA power points. For my install two was just right.

Other Thoughts: What can I say, you get what you pay for, and in this business it is either cheap or quality. For the extra cost, the quality and accuracy of this power supply is well worth it in my opinion. Spend the extra; I think that you will be glad that you did.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost but not yet

Pros: It's working so far. On the verge of silent, but not quite.

Cons: Scythe needs to take a lesson in continuous improvement from their compatriots at Lexus. Take a close look at that power cord in the photo and you'll see that you can't use it.
Really doesn't deserve a 5 rating just for that.

Other Thoughts: For this price I should get a useable power cord.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Sleek looking, quality feel, and lots of connections. Sensors indicate this one maintains more accurate voltages than my old PSU.

Cons: See Below, I'm sure it's just me though.

Other Thoughts: Ok, I spend most of my time with networks, so go easy on me. I have the PSU mounted with the fan pointed up, almost touching the top of the case because the screw holes won't match up the other way. A little recommendation here please?

5 out of 5 eggsWhat Kamariki Means:

Pros: Kamariki is actually Japanese for:
"We pwn 50% of Japan's psu market for a reason or two ~ great voltages, great balanced power, long and sheathed cabling, platinum-ish shiny case, quiet, cool ~ so why are you not buying this today ?"

Cons: None yet, I'll surely update if it loses the magic.

Other Thoughts: Actually, I don't know what the real meaning of Kamariki is, btw, but that pretty much sums up my opinion so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: This supply is perfect for thos of you who have a lot of things to plug in. It's also sleek, so it looks great with plexi-glass or clear acrylic towers.

Cons: I advise against using this if you have a Micro ATX case, as the cables take up a lot of room.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Product

Pros: I'm running a 3800+ X2, overclocked to 2.42 GHz, a Quadro FX1000 Graphics Card, 2 10K RPM SCSI drives, 2 7200 RPM IDE Drives, and 2 Optical Drives. This power supply not only provides plenty of power connections, it is so quiet that I can't hear it over my hard drives. The PSU also seems to maintain voltage under load.

The black chrome and covered cables also make for a very clean look. I am very impressed so far.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Time will tell how well it holds up in the long run. Considering I was actually running this setup on a 300W PSU before, I don't anticipate any trouble.
