5 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply

Pros: Still going strong after almost 7 years with no issues at all. I love the modular cables and the extra ones can be stored in the supplied velcro case.

Cons: It uses a little more power than some only being 80+ certified.

Other Thoughts: It appears that Xclio has gone out of business as their website no longer exists.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: Working Flawlessly so far. Powering a MSI 890FX, 2 ATI 4870x2 Video cards, and 7 Hard drvies. I believe the components appear to be able to handle the rating, onlike another brand I had rated at 1000watts. This one its capacitors and Choaks look beefy enough to handle the rated load. I can't say that about many others I considered before purchasing one.

Cons: None so far. I have no complaints about the unit at all.

Other Thoughts: Just as I mentioned above. The parts look up to the rated wattage, adiquate 12 volt rails. My other failed, i believe due to not enough 12v rails or wattage on the sata rails. When I started to overclock, the old one failed. This one is perfect so far.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving it

Pros: Mine is flawless after 1Yr. and 7 Mo. and I couldn't be happier with it. I got it to run 2 9800 gx2's, 2 500 GB. HD's and a core 2 Duo E8400@4GHZ. and it does this with ease! The fan has never started to make any noise and I love the modular design.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I noticed that other reviewers have had problems with it but my experience has been nothing but positive after more than a year and a half!!!

2 out of 5 eggsBad Power Supply

Pros: Love the modular cables. Looks nice.

Cons: I built a Rampage extreme Intel 2 duo 3.16 with 8 gigs or ram and got it all together last week and now the power supply is having issues. I'm on my 3rd mother board, finally got one from new egg that works and now the PS is faulty. It's a few days past their 30 day return policy so I may be out of luck and have to go through Xclio. Hoping they will exchange it for new one.

3 out of 5 eggsRMA'd

Pros: Lot's of power, very quiet, great price.

Cons: Mine might be defective but it definitely cannot handle high end systems

Other Thoughts: Like I stated, mine might be defective and therefore 3 eggs only. I have 790i F.T.W, e8600 (stock), OCZ DDR3-1600 4GB, GTX 280 3-sli, 1x velociraptor 300gb, 2x 1TB, 2x dvd+/-r, G15, MX518, Plantronics usb headset, Swiftech water pump, and 8 fans. Powers up fine and temps are great. ALWAYS HARD LOCKS MY PC. I have tested all other components and finally noticed the +12v drops below 11v on idle and on full load (11.25v idle/ 10.90v load) therefore hard locks. Tested my system with PCP&C 1000w and no issues. RMA in process and keeping fingers crossed that the new one does not do this.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute Junk

Pros: it worked when first recieved....

Cons: its junk, had it for 9 months went to turn on my pc, and nothing talked to new egg they said if you dont have the original packing the 1 year warranty is no good.... so i suggest you live in a dumpster so you can keep trash in your house for atleast 1 year.

Other Thoughts: Asus m3n ht deluxe, phenom black edition, 9800 gx2, antec 1200, 8 gig corsair ram, and a paperwieght for a power supply !Priceless!!!!

3 out of 5 eggsno go for HD4870x2 in Xfire

Pros: powerfull monster of a power supply. runs 1 hd4870x2 with no issues ...

Cons: runs 1 hd4870x2 with no issues ... until you plug in the second card. pulling too much amps or something. tried maybe the voltages on different connectors thinking you could match up with a different rail but no go. those ati cards are power hunrgy. so for 2 of those, this will not work. read about people thinking this can do tri sli with 280 gtx ... i don't know, since it can't handle 2 hd4870x2's.

Other Thoughts: i really liked how you look at ati's site and requirements just say 1k + power supply. no info on amprage for rails and what not is needed. they have you thinking that any card will work if it is 1k and up and has the connectors. look at the certified xfire list ( i did too late), and they have quite a few supplies that are 1k and better, and most of those don't run two. i am running them both with the antec 1000 quatro tru power. so be sure to look at the certified list of ps's to get what you want with 2 cards.

4 out of 5 eggscool fan

Pros: quiet when left on low speeds
cool color changing
pci slot fitting really nice

Cons: the color switching function, rainbow effect doesn't work just sticks on green, not really a biggie i still have blue, red but when u pay $$$ u want it to work properly.
on high its a bit loud

Other Thoughts: all in all a great little fan, leave it on low and it will move enough air, have this installed into one of the back fan ports on my xclio 1000 to move warm air out of my case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good PSU

Pros: Very nice modular design. Makes the case look tidy when you don't need all of the power connectors. I put this into my XCLIO 1000 Black / Silver 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case (N82E16811103022) because the case has 12x 3.5" drive bays which I plan to fill with 1TB hard drives. So far I have 3x 1TB WD HDDs, 1x 160GB WD HDD, 1x Lite-On DVD Burner.

Cons: None really, it would've been nice to have an LED in the PSU fan, but it's not a deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: It was very nice to be able to hook up all four of my hard drives with one cable.
