1 out of 5 eggsEXPLODED

Pros: Glows Blue

Cons: After 3 years of barely livable life, tons of BSOD's, issues with my processor and motherboard dieing (of which I am now sure are caused by this PSU), it literally sparked, and exploded. I have never even thought a modern PSU could do that.

Other Thoughts: Glad it's out of stock, will never buy XION again.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked for 3 years.

Pros: Worked perfectly for 3 years.

Cons: Burned out taking my ssd and cpu/mobo with it... Not sure it working for 3 years outweighs the damage it did. And yes I had it connected to a battery back up surge protector.

2 out of 5 eggs...say what?

Pros: Ran well-ish while it lasted

Cons: sigh.... Bought this on 9/24/2010, today I turned my PC on.. a few seconds after startup I hear a "pop", a spark, and a strange smell from inside this PSU... needless to say it no longer works.. I'm worried it might have ruined everything connected to it, but no way to tell due to the fact I don't have a PSU to replace it...

Other Thoughts: During the time it was "working", I was unable to overclock anything, because my PC would crash.. I never bothered to figure out of it was due to this PSU.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I purchased this item in june of 2010 over a year and a half ago, and so far this power supply just keeps on working as it should. I have it running my Intel I7 920 quad core 6 gig of ram an MSI nvidia 480 gts, 2 optical drives , 2 hard drives 2 220 mm case fans ,4 120 mm case fans. I run have run this computer playing Battelfield Bad Company 2 and watching streaming video almost 10 hours a day on average for the last year and a half. I gave 99.00 dollars for this PS and would do so again in a heartbeat.

Cons: It isn't modular but that cannot be considerded a con for an 11100 watt powersupply for 99 bucks.

2 out of 5 eggsOutput no where near 1100W

Pros: Cost

Cons: Doesn't provide enough power. My 2 way SLI setup dies quickly when pulling 1.125ma each. Not acceptable.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent customer service

Pros: I bought this when I got 2 4870x2 cards in January 2010. It was a good value and provided the current needed on the +12V rails for the cards. It worked flawlessly for 11 months, and then it stopped being able to power both cards (but the PC was still usable w/only one card in it).

I e-mailed tech support asking if there was a way to get an advance replacement, expecting (reasonably) to have an authorization put on my CC for it, but fearing the worst (that they would say no - I had already identified a local source for a replacment PS figuring I'd have to buy a new PS to use while this one was RMA'd). I couldn't afford to be down while a PS was shipped to and from a vendor.

I was pleasantly SHOCKED to get a reply the next day saying they shipped me a replacement (included tracking #) and giving me an RMA to send the old one back when I get the replacement.

Cons: None. Degraded after 11 months, but their advance replacement warranty service totally negates this as a problem. Yes you'd rather not have problems at all but when a vendor addresses your problem this gracefully, it makes it a non-issue.

Other Thoughts: Well done XION, I have no hesitation buying their products again in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsYou can't beat the price!

Pros: Plugged in and running great, turned on all the time. easy to make the wire bundle neat and tidy.

EVGA X58 mobo
core i7 920 oc to 2.8ghz
2x evga gtx280sli
6 gb ocz ddr3 1600

Cons: None that I can find so far.

Other Thoughts: I was leery of this product because cheap price usually means cheap components used in construction. I imagine this PSU's transformers and caps and choke will not last very many years, but at this price you can buy a new one down the road.

Also I have a 28v jet engine starter cooler circulating air through my case.. so I may be having good luck with this because it is kept very cool.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat power supply

Pros: this power supply is great 1100 whats for 100 dollars is a steal. i have had it for about a year now with no hiccups it runs great.

Cons: my only con is that its not modular. their are a lot of cords to hide but if you take your time like i did you cant see a single one.

Other Thoughts: i would recommend this psu to anyone who does not want to throw away a lot of cash on a powerful psu this one does just fine
