1 out of 5 eggsCan't run continuously at >50% output

Pros: Fairly quiet, cool, and stable at low output.

Cons: Runs ok at less than 400W at the wall (kill-a-watt) Push it over that and rig hangs or shuts down. Running 2x7950s and this PSU can't handle it.

1 out of 5 eggsNever again will i buy q xion product

Pros: NONE!

Cons: I received broken psu, had to pay to ship it out twice only to recieve what i believe to be the same psu i sent in. after that i said screw it and didn't contact them again as i can see the same thing happening and would have to pay to ship again.

Other Thoughts: do yourself a favor and go with corsair.

5 out of 5 eggs850 Watts, cool blue fan, good to go

Pros: Nice output for the price. Good amount of connectors. Doesn't seem to get too hot and matches the black and blue layout of my PC.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This is not a modular PSU, so if you are looking for a modular design, don't buy this one. Make sure it has all the connectors you need as well

5 out of 5 eggsIs serving me well for nearly 4 years

Pros: Got this in the latter part of 2009, but mine specifically is an 800W bought for $79.99 to use on my "high powered" AMD X2 and 8800GT and is currently in my machine now with a GTX 670 and i5 3570K. At each incremental upgrade I made, I was skeptical if this PSU would handle the new equipment and every time it didn't fail me, so I just had to come on here to give props to the only other component that has been with me since 2009...The other component is my case.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I used to hear people talking about amperage on the rails and people would tell me I didn't have enough, but that was obviously untrue in my case. Never a problem with overclocking or anything. I never did go SLI , but I have enough plugs to put another GTX670 if I wanted one. I'm on here now shopping for a 1000W ..hopefully modular PSU and after I do a little research on price and how things have been the last 4 years, I won't hesitate to buy from these guys again.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: PROS? That's funny... This box of laughs cant even power x2 GTX 460 cards with out adaptars, and whenever you actually do power them, it

Cons: This box of laughs cant even power x2 GTX 460 cards with out adaptars, and whenever you actually do power them, it over heats so fast, after 20 minutes of playing Batman, the card hits 80 degrees. I will be buying the corsair tx 850 to replace this terrible piece of equipment.

Manufacturer Response:

Pls contact us @+1909598200 or www.xionusa.com for a RMA service of that we could replace you a new PSU or re-fund your purchased. Tks.

5 out of 5 eggsBest One Yet

Pros: Have tried a variety of power supplies on my computer, this one by far exceeds all I have used. Construction is good, is quiet, no fluctuations unlike rest I have had, runs cool and stable.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Great power supply, with great value. large range of connection types and plenty of each. So far I'm very impressed with this power supply.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: High wattage, few connectors

Other Thoughts: First off, I have no idea how this can be Crossfire ready. It has TWO PCI-E connectors, which in theory can be used on two cards, if they each require one to be powered on. However, my video card uses 2 6-pin connectors and this hunk of junk could barely power it. It wouldn't even have enough connectors left if I wanted to run Crossfire... and even if it did, it could never power 2 separate cards.

Using Firefox alone seemed to put the GPU under enough stress to force my PC to reboot. Batman: Arkham Asylum on HQ? 5 minutes if I'm lucky.

It's 850 watts... which should be more than enough to power my system... but it doesn't. It's a cheaply built box of frustration that I'm glad is finally out of my life.

Save yourself the headache and buy something/anything else. I swapped this garbage out and installed a Corsair 850-TX. Haven't looked back since.
