3 out of 5 eggsXion 700 W

Pros: - Lasted through warrenty
- Until problems started near the end of year 2, power supply was constant and no problems were present
- semi modular

Cons: - Once problems like rail degredation start you will not be able to play any modern games at high detail with out Killing the power to the computer like many people have mentioned.
- I searched for hours, tested and retested, used temperture monitoring software from every website and came to the conclusion that with fridged air being released from the case and stable temps through all cores and GPU, that the PSU had to have developed some kind of problem in the 12V rail. Again I cannot be certain of any of these power readings since without using a physical meter they cannot be truely accurate but as of know while Im awaiting my RaidMAx to arrive, multiple Amperage softwares are reading below 9V being supplied to the 12V, its highly unlikely this is accurate but its possible that the rail set up just happens to utilize the non degredated rail until high performance is requested by games.
- cleaning is extremly difficult

2 out of 5 eggsProblematic Reboots

Pros: >Nice price tag: $80 isn't half bad for a 700W power supply.
>Very easy to install: I had no issues installing the component. The outputs built into the power supply were easy to work with.

Cons: >Random reboots: Between March and May of this year, my system began rebooting randomly. Most times it would reboot during a game and other times it would reboot while idling. As I wasn't sure what component was the issue, I didn't replace it until recently when I was certain it was the PSU. I have since replaced it with a Rosewill 1000W and have experienced no issues since.

Unfortunately, this could be due to bad ownership, as I had mistakenly allowed the computer to sit on a carpet floor. The issues with the PSU could be due to the carpet, so take this with a grain of salt.

4 out of 5 eggsWhat was expected

Pros: Easy to install for the most part
Did what I expected and wanted from it

Cons: The wires that came with it left me 1 shy when hooking up my blue-ray & hard drives, being as the PSU connectors are different from the other 3 PSU's I have in my home.

It was also a little difficult to get it to stay in place while adding in the screws during the original install.

Other Thoughts: I would buy another again, if I happen to need one. Had some minor issues with the install, but overall was very easy and has lived up to expectations so far.

Using it in a gaming PC and it's never really had an issue keeping up with demands. I would have preferred if it had came with a few more 'extra' wires, but it's not a big deal. Still easily worth 4/5 in my opinion.

1 out of 5 eggsWill not buy from Xion again

Pros: good price

Cons: Poor quality. Power was inconsistent and would cause my pc to shut down or restart. Plus, I tried to contact Xion's customer service multiple times and never heard anything back.

Other Thoughts: I had a smaller xion psu before this one. It worked for about a year before it became a bit flakey. That's probably when I should have learned my lesson.
After having problems with my last psu not working very well and then having this one not work at all AND not hearing from xion customer service I have just decided not to buy from Xion ever again.

Manufacturer Response:

We apologied for the porblem happened. Pls contact us @19095982600 for a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat psu

Pros: You can unplug unneeded cables for easy cable management.

Cons: There are only 2 pci cables, so you can only hook up one graphics card if yours needs 2 power cables.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat, but has problems

Pros: Modular, 700w, comparably cheap, etc

Cons: I was replacing my cpu heatsink and a screw fell off. The grate on top of this PSU is juuuuuust big enough that the screw fell inside. So, I was forced to open it up and get the screw out because for the life of me there was absolutely no way to shake it out. I'm now having some problems with my Computer and I'm not sure if it's the CPU or the PSU.

Other Thoughts: While it was more or less my fault that it isn't functioning, that dang grate could have been ever slightly so smaller.
