Power packed to the core, the ENERMAX Infiniti EIN720AWT 720W power supply is ideal for the ultra high end multi-GPU gaming system. It's SLI, CrossFire and Quad Core CPU ready, and will add real boost to your beast machine. This modular PSU is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum heat. Instead of a small fan on the back of the unit there is a large 135mm fan on the bottom and the back panel is a minimally obstructive hexagonal mesh interrupted only by the power connector and switch.

The modular design makes cable management easier. The main power cables are permanently attached, while all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. To make installation easier the PCIe cables are color coded. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation.

Triple +12V rails ensure a balanced power output for your system no matter what the load. Actually, this EIN720AWT supports dual CPUs with quad core, triple graphics cards and up to 18 drivers! With its 80 PLUS Certified, so less energy is wasted as heat or interference, delivering more power to your hungry system!

  • newegg ATX12V and EPS12V Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, the Enermax Infiniti EIN720AWT power supply provides maximum stable power to drive the processors as well as other components for desktop and even sever computer systems.

  • newegg ATI CrossFire Certified The Enermax Infiniti EIN720AWT power supply has gone through a series of rigorous ATI CrossFire certification tests for maximum system stability when building CrossFire Ready multi-video-card PCs.

5 out of 5 eggsIt turned on when i pushed power

Pros: It works

Cons: It didn't catch fire when i turned it on.

Other Thoughts: Its hard to review a PSU in a new computer because longevity and reliability are the things that matter. My last PSU was a Thermaltake 480W and ran strong for 6 years.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid power supply

Pros: Good power supply. Sent in the rebate and there was a problem and eventually they straightened it out and sent me the rebate check, though 5 months later..

Cons: Slow to send out rebate. No problem whatsoever with the power supply

5 out of 5 eggsReliable-Powerful-Flexible-Efficient

Pros: -Solid design. No cheap parts.
-Modular design is great. Plenty of room to grow with all the additional cabling & available power output.
-Quiet.
-Efficiency rating of 80%. That means a lot to me, since I run multiple PCs.
-Active Power Factor Correction.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: #1 way to kill your PC = bad power. Don't skimp. I highly recommend Enermax's PSUs. I personally haven't had 1 fail yet (I own 5).

Yes I suppose Enermax could make it more obvious that this PSU requires sine wave type when drawing current from a UPS. I own an Enermax Galaxy 1000w, and I purchased a UPS with true sine wave type at that time, so I'm well prepared.

3 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU so far

Pros: Very happy with this power supply so far. Very quiet, modular, works great.

Cons: Rebate rebate rebate. I applied for the rebate within a few days of purchase and mailed the forms and documentation promptly. My rebate has been in the "approved" state on the website for weeks now with no change. I have emailed on numerous occasions with no response.

Other Thoughts: I chose this power supply specifically because of the rebate. I had narrowed my choice to this one or a Corsair HX750. Both had similar reviews and were close in price, but this one offered a $65 MIR which was my deciding factor. My gut feeling was to stick with the Corsair, but I went with the Enermax. I should have trusted my gut. Fool me once.

5 out of 5 eggsNice rebate for reliability

Pros: Enermax reliability - my last PSU is going on 6 years and still works. The Coolguard actually works as advertised, even with my fan controller.

Cons: Not enough of a con to drop a star, but the PSU case is a bit bigger than smaller <500w units so make sure it will fit before you buy.

Other Thoughts: I put my last Enermax PSU through a lot, including a kludgy water pump switch that audibly popped every time the computer booted up. Hopefully this new one lasts just as long.

5 out of 5 eggsA nice PSU

Pros: Biggest pro is it's modular. Looks nice, good gun metal color and no lame LED's.
Perfect cable lengths (except the CPU, see other thoughts), nice sleeves on the cables for a clean look.
Good amperage on the rails, runs quiet and cool.

Cons: Not much at all, I guess maybe that it's not 100% modular so the 24 pin and 8 pin cpu connectors still come out. This is merely cosmetic though.

Other Thoughts: For cases that have bottom mounted PSU's, the 24 pin and 8 pin CPU cables are further away from the motherboard. When top mounted these would be to the inside of the case. But I have an Antec 200 so bottom mounted. The 8 pin CPU BARELY reached, and the 24 pin only had an inch or two to spare. If those cables had been on the inside they would have been great and a cleaner look as well.
I still give it 5 stars, it's a nice PSU for the price. I'm running an I7 860 at 4.3ghz and a gtx285, runs them perfect.

2 out of 5 eggsAfter reading these comments

Pros: The PS was quiet and a the cables make for a very neat installation

Cons: I bought it 4 months ago and it bricked last night. I was going to buy another one as they are still on sale and keep the RMA'd one for a spare. After reading the comments I will buy some other brand. Being great on RMA's doesn't change the fact that my PC is down during the process.

Other Thoughts: Maybe this is why this model is on heavy discount. The rest are pretty expensive.
