Power packed to the core, the ENERMAX Revolution85+ ERV1050EWT 1050W power supply is ideal for your multi-GPU gaming system. It is SLI, CrossFire and Quad Core CPU ready, and will add real boost to your beast machine. This modular PSU is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum heat. Instead of a small fan on the back of the unit, there's a large 135mm fan on the bottom, and the back panel is a minimally obstructive hexagonal mesh interrupted only by the power connector and switch.
The modular design makes cable management easier. The main power cables are permanently attached while all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation.
Six +12V rails ensure a balanced power output for your system no matter what the load. Eight 6+2P (8P) PCI-E connectors is featured for PCI Express 2.0 / DXX next generation graphic cards. Ready for the future, the ERV1050EWT features four 12P sockets for possibly upcoming new CPU's and graphics with 10 or 12Pin connectors. With its 80 PLUS SILVER Certified, so less energy is wasted as heat or interference, delivering more power to your hungry system!
ATX12V and EPS12V Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, the Enermax Revolution85+ ERV1050EWT power supply provides maximum stable power to drive the processors as well as other components for desktop and even sever computer systems.
1050W Maximum Power The Enermax Revolution85+ ERV1050EWT power supply provides a maximum power of 1050W to deliver safe, reliable output for ultra high-end computer systems. Six industry-leading independent +12v rails are provided for more stable and safer power output.
80 PLUS SILVER Certified The 80 PLUS SILVER certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 85% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
Cool Performance and Silent Operation A large 135mm fan creates heavy duty airflow to draw heat away from the power supply enclosure while an intelligent fan speed controller automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the system temperature for minimized operation noise.
Modular Cable Design The modular cable design allows use of only the cables you need resulting in improved internal airflow and reduced system clutter.
Future Ready The Enermax Revolution85+ ERV1050EWT power supply features 12-pin modular connectors, presenting endless combinations and possibilities for future CPU and graphic needs.

Rating: 5/5Excellent
Pros: Silent, superior clean power, much better than average regulation. Complies with and/or surpasses ALL legitimate standards. Much better than average quality/workmanship.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: As a MS-EE and PhD, I think I'm more qualified than the hoards of quack experts and reviewers on enthusiast websites that aren't even equipped to test them properly. I am. Enermax is among the tiny few that I will even consider. This one is my current favorite for i7 builds with two Fermi cards.

Rating: 1/5Fraud!!! - No Rebate!!!
Pros: Nice big PSU
Cons: I bougt this over a week ago (second one). My first one works OK, and seems like a nice unit. However, the first rebate which I bought about 2 months ago, still hasn't arrived. It's approved and all. The second one I bought a week ago also came with a rebate. I went to the rebate site and searched for the rebate number listed. None found! Also, there isn't a single rebate listed at the rebate site.
I contacted enermax regarding the issue via email, but no response what so ever! If you are buying this PSU in hope of getting the rebate. Be careful! If they don't fix the slow rebate problem as well as potential false advertising, not only will they lose a loyal customer, but will be reported to Better Business Bureau.
Don't believe me? Visit the product description page (rigth below the price), and download the PDF rebate file. Follow the link and try to locate the rebate. You won't find any!
Other Thoughts: Fraud!

Rating: 5/5My Own Reactor
Pros: This thing is huge and offers enough juice to power anything you put in your case. I don't think I have even pushed it w/ my i7-920, GTX295, 5 HDs, 2 DVD Drives, lights and fans. I like that I have cable openings left over so as I upgrade, I won't have to worry about a new power supply.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you are on a good circuit if you are sharing it with other high amperage devices. At my old home, I would always blow the fuse if I was running both of my computers and someone turned on a couple of the lights elsewhere on that circuit.

Rating: 5/5Alienhead PSU !
Pros: Outstanding PSU. Every patch cable u will ever need is included. Love the 6 {not 1 or 2} 12volt rails to feed all your drives and other addons, lights and pumps, etc. This is where some of the extra cost of this psu comes from. I think this is one of the quietest most powerful one kilo watt psus out there ! ! I think the fit and finish, Bold artwork, and oversized fan, combine to make this the best value even at this price! Tech support is truly outstanding!
Cons: Not really a con, but this bad boy is HEAVY ! Better start with a quality case, one that has a ridgid frame. My Predator ALX weighs over 50 pounds.
Other Thoughts: The case is finished with a grit type coating and artwork I think is just fantastic. It would be GREAT for a clear sided case. Wish I could have afforded one back when I was into the clear sided style cases !

Rating: 5/5Flawless
Pros: Easily meets and even exceeds its own specifications as well as the most recent official published ATX standards. It has cleaner and more stable outputs than most, and runs cooler, and is VERY quiet.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Most people have no idea of the size of Enermax's market or the segments they serve. They would be surprised to learn that among the suppliers of "PC" power supplies, few if any of the others measure up to the requirements of these other much more stringent markets.

Rating: 5/5Outstanding board
Pros: Outstanding board. Own two, no problems of any kind with either. Every feature works, is reliable and stable in windows or Sun Solaris Unix.
Cons: None except that there are never enough expansion slots for me, but that applies to all boards regardless of make and model.
Other Thoughts: Both of mine run non stop Folding 24/7 except for periodic cleaning. There is NO more extreme use of a motherboard than folding. Both are flawlessly stable regardless of conditions even when highly overclocked provided one chooses memory and cooling solutions wisely.

Pros: great power supply. plenty of cables, nice package... read previous review
Cons: I published a complaint earlier regarding a high pitched ringing, I finally figured out that it only occurred when my air conditioner was running and that the air conditioner itself also made the same high pitched ringing too. Im thinking there must be some ill conditioned power coming out of the wall that shares a circuit with the air conditioner unit.. strange but I cant blame it on the Power Supply
Other Thoughts: just got the rebate after 6 weeks.. thanks

Rating: 5/5Great PS
Pros: I love the modularity of this supply which prevents multitudes of unused cables cluttering the case. There are a fair number of permanently attached cables and some of these will not be used based on your MB and components but most will. I would refer to Johnny Guru for anything more in depth about stability and loading.
This is a solid Power Suppy and should easily meet most builders needs.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: The PS comes with several Velcro cable straps and a storage bag for any unused cable so you can keep them organized for later expansion.

Rating: 5/5Great PSU
Pros: Well, I bought this on recommendation of Anandtech.com, I was a bit skeptical of Enermax since I had two 620W Liberty's before that both blew capacitors and shot sparks (not an exaggeration). However, I took a leap of faith and got it, even though I have an EVGA Classified E760 (guess they fixed that problem?). The PSU and Mainboard have no issues working together, and I got them both from Newegg. Steady power and very efficient.
Cons: Like other users have mentioned, the power cord is a little loose, I thought I messed this up when I was doing burn ins on the machine, but this turned out to be common with this PSU.
Other Thoughts: To the people who are faulting this PSU for being "too large"... It's KiloWatt+ PSU.... Pretty much anything over 750W is going to be at least this large, do your homework!
And the rebate process certainly takes its sweet time.
