Power packed to the core, the ENERMAX Revolution85+ ERV950EWT 950W power supply is ideal for your ultra high end multi-GPU gaming system. It is SLI, CrossFire and Quad Core CPU ready, and will add real boost to your beast machine. This modular PSU is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum heat. Instead of a small fan on the back of the unit there is a large 135mm fan on the bottom and the back panel is a minimally obstructive hexagonal mesh interrupted only by the power connector and switch.

The modular design makes cable management easier. The main power cables are permanently attached while all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation.

Six +12V rails ensure a balanced power output for your system no matter what the load. Six 6+2P (8P) PCI-E connectors is featured for PCI Express 2.0 / DXX next generation graphic cards. Ready for the future, the ERV950EWT features four 12P sockets for possibly upcoming new CPU's and graphics with 10 or 12Pin connectors. With its 80 PLUS SILVER Certified, so less energy is wasted as heat or interference, delivering more power to your hungry system!

  • newegg ATX12V and EPS12V Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, the Enermax Revolution85+ ERV950EWT power supply provides maximum stable power to drive the processors as well as other components for desktop and even sever computer systems.

  • newegg Cool Performance and Silent Operation A large 135mm fan creates heavy duty airflow to draw heat away from the power supply enclosure while an intelligent fan speed controller automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the system temperature for minimized operation noise.
  • newegg Modular Cable Design The modular cable design allows use of only the cables you need resulting in improved internal airflow and reduced system clutter.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet

Pros: quiet, solid and lived up to everything i read. some say overkill to have that much power, but this thing is tops in efficiency supposedly and you don't want psu running near it's peak all day.

Cons: couple inches longer than standard, but had no problem installing. currently buying another for new setup.

3 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Good PSU. Very stable. Like the Modular rails, really cleans up the clutter inside the case which enhances the vital air flow. Powers my system very well and doesnt send my APC crazy with alarms when in graphics intensive game play, LOL

Cons: This is my 2nd unit. The 1st one flat lined after about 10 hours of use. Newegg RMA'd with NO hassle and got my new PSU within a week. Was a bit bent over having to pay for the shipping. After all this PSU was almost $300, But whatever, So far so good with the new one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PS for dual CPU motherboard!

Pros: Huge fan. Moves large amount of air at silent speeds. Has 2-wire fan lead to report fan speed to motherboard. Build quality is great and I love how it comes with 12x SATA power plugs - enough for my 12 port Adaptec RAID card. Modular cables for only the accessories is great.
Had 24 pin and 2x 8-pin EPS12V plugs to run my dual processor Tyan S7025AGM2NR which requires this. There are few power suppplies that offer this, and I wouldn't consider any of the other manufacturers when compared to Enermax.

Cons: It's longer than other power supplies I've owned, but that's to be expected of a 950W power supply.
I kinda wish the PCI-E power cables were modular too. When used with a server motherboard, it comes with onboard video, and I will never use a PCI-E plug for video cards. Would clean up the case, but I figure they probably did it for tighter tolerances with those power hungry video cards.

Other Thoughts: I've always been happy with Enermax power supplies. They are very efficient, very quiet, and are dependable. It depends what you plug in of course, but for dual E5520's, 12 hard drives, and two RAID cards, this is more than powerful enough.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellence Is Expected

Pros: Good looking unit. Meets its specs. Nice selection of cables.

Cons: For this price I expect everythign to be perfect. The unit I recieved had one of its screw monuting holes completely drilled out - no threads - just a smooth hole like the other air flow holes. SO, my unit is being secured with only three screws....

...was it engineered that way???

Other Thoughts: ~~NOW~~ it has a $60 mail in rebate...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great for Me

Pros: Seems to be a great psu. No problems what so ever. This is very quite unit. Bought this for future upgrades. I feel that I will not have to for some time now with this psu with having 6 rails at 30a each.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: Running a Q6700, on a MSI P35, 4gb ram and a 4870 1gb ATI. Not a die hard gamer, but one I am. Always looking upward.
