5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: Easy to install. Modular cables. Runs quiet. No squealing under load. Stable power with great overclocking.

Cons: 8 pin MB power is short for bottom mounted power supplies and routing through the back of the case.

Other Thoughts: This power supply is quality all around. I am completely satisfied. As noted, the motherboard power 8 pin connector is short for bottom mounted power supplies. You can still connect it, but you cannot connect it through the back of the case if your case allows hidden routing.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU for Gamer Builds

Pros: Modular connections - I can't say enough positive things about this. For those don't know and have ever had a pile of unused PSU cables that you have bundled up, this allows you to only connect the cables that you are going to need above and beyond the standard MoBo and PCIe connectors.

Great idle power management (as read on my CyberPower UPS widget display).

Circuit protection and 30 second post shutdown fan run to dissipate remaining case and component heat.

80+ certification. I'm not an Al Gore fan or Global Warming sympathizer, however, power consumption costs $ and I run my PC almost 18 hours a day.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is the second time I've purchased this PSU for a gamer build (this last one for a friend).

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice And Of High Quality!!!

Pros: Very heavy high end PSU with an unbeatable warranty. Very quite!!! Nice long cables that should reach in even some Of the biggest cases.

Have been purchasing PSU's from ENERMAX for sometime without issue.

Cons: I do wish the sleeving was all black but I did know this when I picked it up so can't really complain. On side note the sleeving is high quality...

Other Thoughts: I have owned around 6 of these Of the same and different watts and have only had one issue with the PSU in combination Of the EVGA Classified Motherboard and that was solved very quickly and painlessly.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Don't know since DOA

Cons: I have always used Enermax PSU but this one ended up DOA. And Enermax technical support was nil. Thanks to Newegg for taking the return. I ended up purchasing Antec 1200W PSU and it is working well

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: First of all, when you first pick up the box that this PSU comes with and you look at the quality and detail they put into the box none the less and the weight of it, speaks volumes.

This PSU screams beast from the moment you look at it, the finish looks great, goes well with my red and black color scheme.

First boot to now, has run without a hitch. Enermax continues to make a name for itself as a top tier PSU brand.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Was considering the Corsair 850 but...I figured I'd spend the extra change and get something I wanted instead of settling with something else. I'm glad I did, cause the quality and overall satisfaction of what I paid for blew me away. I could of paid $500 for this PSU and still felt it was way worth it.

5 out of 5 eggshigh quality

Pros: When opening up the box to this PSU I had a sense that this thing was a beast and it is. It weighs a ton, the packaging is very nice but not over the top as I've seen in other reviews about the corsair professional series PSU's (the other which I was considering an 850w gold). This enermax PSU is packaged well enough to keep the PSU and all the important parts protected, comes with a carry bag for extra cables. It also came with a 120mm fan as bonus (I describe further in other thoughts). First thing I noticed was its very high quality textured finish. This got a bit scratched as I squeezed the unit into an antec 300 case (not PSU's fault). I like the fact that the 24pin and the 8 pin motherboard connectors are are not modular. It seems appropriate that these connectors need not be modular. There's a few other non modular cables too. Its very quiet but emits a high quality sounding hum. The PSU stays on for about 30 seconds after the computer is shut down to cool the system.

Cons: None I really like the unit. Perhaps someone with more techi knowledge could find something to nitpick about but I could find no flaws.

Other Thoughts: I went with the 920w because according to a PSU calculator I used, this wattage would be adequate to run all my computer system components and have a crossfire setup with two Radeon HD 6870 turbos. Haven't got two cards yet but I'll be ready to make the jump power wise. I'll have to nix my antec 300 case for crossfire it'll be too small, need full tower.
I gotta talk about the fan that came with this unit for a sec because its pretty neat. The bonus 120mm fan that comes with the PSU is chrome painted or more likely chrome plated. It has a ring of several very bright white surface mounted leds which are mounted flush around the inner fan housing. The fan uses a connector for mounting to motherboard and a little switch to control the light functions on, off, blinking, etc. With the leds lit up and shining on the chrome fan in operation, it makes a cool swirl effect. Its a pretty neat bonus really.
