3 out of 5 eggsget something else...

Pros: cheap?

Cons: This is a cheap PSU, poor cable length, and sleeving. Pick something else.

Other Thoughts: It's a good PSU, but the cables are just terrible. They're loosely sleeved, and very thick. I put this in a BitFenix Ghost and it was a complete nightmare with the wiring. Between this having very thick, loosely sleeved cables, and the Ghost only having a half an inch behind the MoBo tray it was just an awful 3 hours of wiring. If the case you have, or are planning to use has minimal space behind the MoBo tray go for a different PSU with high quality tight sleeving, or something with a flattened 24pin cable, because this one was about 3/4" thick, and a real hassle. These cables are pretty short too. The sata power cables could barely reach from the top HDD bay to the Optical drive. The 24pin could barely fit behind the MoBo tray and out the grommet to the connector on the board. The wires are hideously black, yellow, and cheap sleeving as well. All in All, I should have bought another SeaSonic, but I chose to save a little money.

1 out of 5 eggsBe Smart

Pros: It came on time. Easy to install.

Cons: Dead on arrival. Now this power supply gets DOA a lot just look at the other comments. So be smart and pay the extra money for a brand you know. Its worth the $20 extra to be able play your rig as soon as you get it. You'll pay the extra $20 anyways when this dies on you, might as well pay it now and avoid the hassle. I got this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153106
And it works great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's modular, which helps keep things looking very clean. I've been using it since the beginning of April, so almost 2 months now-it's practically silent and keeps everything powered!

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I got this much cheaper than the other modular PSU's of the same wattage. I also was lucky enough to scoop it up with an instant rebate, so I can't testify to having to go through the company for the MIR. Overall a good decision for me

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent power supply

Pros: Owned for over a year, runs my i7-960 @ 4.2Ghz, SLI GTX560's, 6X ssd raid 5, 4 x hot swap sata III storage drives (WD Blacks 2tb). fan controller, blue ray, Sata 6b raid HBA adapter, additional non-raid adapter, X-fi card,. It has been absolutely perfect. Completely silent in a HAF 932 case, excellent cable lengths for full tower case.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Lepa is a rebranded enermax top end PSU.

Pros: Great introductory price w/MIR. Checked out company and everything.

Cons: Dead on arrival! What! $ 1500.00 sitting on my workbench. No powe. Paid money to ship it back, really got me. So far I have kover $ 135.00 out of pocket. Did I mention it was DEAD. Shoul have this build finished by next year.

2 out of 5 eggsWill not buy again

Pros: Does the job so far.
Was supposed to be a good price.

Cons: Company does not honor their mail-in rebates.
Wasn't a good price due to MIR being refused.

Other Thoughts: Bought this because of the MIR making it competitively priced. MIR denied, to myself and another person that bought one on my recommendation. Denied the same day for the same reason, so not a fluke.

Have already started returning the favor by steering everyone I know away from this company and their questionable ethics. If they won't honor their MIR, will they honor their warranty? I hope I never have to find out.

Will be the last Enermax/LEPA product I ever buy.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi,

Please contact us regarding your MIR. As we do not take care of the MIR inhouse. We use a third party company to process all MIR claims.

So please e-mail your rebate number to support@ecomastertek.com so that we can further look into this discrepancy.

We will honor all rebates that qualify.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
