4 out of 5 eggsVery quiet and works like a charm.

Pros: Works great with my build and fits in with all the other parts. As well, the cables are very clean and manageable.

Cons: One egg was removed for the first one being DOA. However, they did replace it within a week.

1 out of 5 eggsEnermax Naxn 650w Power Supply

Pros: Did not power on. Nice Flat Cable Design. Quality Connectors. Nice Looking Housing. Again, did not power on. This stuff happens, but why? I have shopped NEWEGG for about 7 years and only had 1 RMA in 7 years until now. This is RMA #2. Sigh!

Cons: It is costing $16 to send back a defective unit from Pennsylvania to California. This was for a customer. After reading many good reviews, I am let down to the point I don't want to try another power supply from this company. I have used dirt cheap power supplies that I had better luck with than this.

Other Thoughts: I received this Enermax Naxn 650watt Power Supply for a customer. I carefully plugged in ever wire including 24 pin power and 8 pin power connectors. Unit didn't power on. I checked that the wall had power with a test light. I put this power supply on an Apevia Power Supply Tester (it did not power on) I then tried a dusty 250watt Power Supply on the tester I had in stock and that worked fine. My conclusion is a bad Power Supply.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry for your inconvenience, and we are more than happy to replace a new one for you. Please file a RMA ticket at:

5 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: Shipped quickly and arrived a day early. I was using this PSU to replace a pretty old Apevia 500 watt PSU that came with my case. It was starting to exhibit signs that it would be failing soon (high pitched noise when the computer was turned off).

The installation was simple, and this PSU has more connection than my previous PSU. The black flexible wires are a nice change to the typical wires in sleeve that you normally see.

The powder coated finish is nice and durable. The overall build quality is excellent.

Cons: None that I can think of.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Unit

Pros: It works and was quiet.

Cons: I bought this after reading the great reviews here on newegg, I guess I got the lemon. After a little over a month the fan is making a grinding noise on startup and then quiets down and now it makes noise intermittently as well. Called the company and they want to charge me for a new one and then when I receive it send this one back at my expense and refund me when they get it. So much for good customer service or standing by your product. The shipping will cost almost half what I paid for it from NY to CA. It is clearly a defective unit, they should pay shipping back to them. This is my first time buying this brand. Time to buy a new brand and stay away from Enermax in the future!!!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Rick,

We apologize for the inconvenience. If this product is under warranty, we would not ask to charge for the same model number. Please contact us via support e-mail@ with your RA#, we will get this resolved ASAP.

Thank you,
Customer Service Team

5 out of 5 eggsGood all around.

Pros: The cables are all a good length for my mid-tower case, they seem quite durable, and the fan is quiet. Runs my computer at full blast without a hitch!

Cons: The cables can be a little stiff, so if you ever needed to really twist them around you might be in for some trouble. The stiffness also made it a little harder to bundle the unused wires up.

Other Thoughts: Had several molex plugs free by the time my build was done.

5 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: This is a great power supply. Good build quality and the cable sheathing is excellent. Runs very quietly as well. Has a built in feature that runs the fan for an extra 30 seconds to dissipate any built up heat.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have this in a bottom PSU mount case (Cooler Master HAF 912) and have had no trouble with heating at all. Stays cool and quiet. I was a little apprehensive when I bought this as there were only 7-8 reviews, but all were positive so I got it and I couldn't be happier with it. If you are looking for a 600-700 Watt PSU, you cant go wrong with this one.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality, Stable Power Supply

Pros: The unit looks simple and solid.
There are plenty of connectors (at least for me - verified the # before making the purchase).
Provides stable power, have not had any problems.

Cons: More to do with my skill than that of the power supply, but I had a hard time trying to make the cables fit in my case without interfering with the other hardware.
My case is average size, nothing big, and I do not have a lot of hardware that needs all the extra connectors (yet). So I have extra cables in my case at the moment.

Not taking an egg for this (more my issue and nothing wrong with the PSU), but it could be good to know for smaller cases without a lot of hardware.

Other Thoughts: This replaced a PSU that came bundled with a case. In comparison, this thing in whisper quiet. I can't hear it over the other fans in my machine (The old PSU was the only thing I could hear).

I got this in preparation to upgrade the rest of my machine soon, as currently I do not need this much power. The 80+ bronze is a nice feature though, so even using less power it is more efficiently used (over 20%).

Current CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 450 - 3.2 Ghz
Current GPU: AMD/ATI HD 5670 1GB

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: not hard to install if you know how to install power supplies and run the wiring. Quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Replaced power supply that died on me after 7 years. This hooked right up and worked fine from first power on. No issues thus far.
