1 out of 5 eggsPSU Died

Pros: 1500W was enough to power a powerhouse. This was perfect for my 3D work that I do and the video games I played. Enough to power my 3 graphic cards.

Cons: Not consistent flow. Low amp. My PSU died after a few months.

1 out of 5 eggsSTAY AWAY Poor Customer Service and Quality

Pros: Big beefy power supply.

Cons: Customer service is horrible. I have two of these. One blew out after 6 months and I've been trying to get a RMA for two months. It took them over a week to respond, asking for a receipt. I emailed them the receipt and haven't heard back for over a month. I then initiated a new RMA request and attached the receipt to the request. It took them a week to reply to this email, asking for my system specs. I emailed them the system specs a week ago and haven't heard back.

Other Thoughts: I can excuse that one out of the two units I bought died in 6 months, but I can't excuse the poor customer service. You're better off purchasing a different brand.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quallity

Pros: It powered everything.

Cons: Burned out in the first month and had to return it.

One of the cables would not plug in. It went halfway in then it would not come out.

Other Thoughts: Get the a different one, this one is not worth the savings.

1 out of 5 eggsDont even bother

Pros: Works well for a week

Cons: DOESNT LAST LONG

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA previously due to the same power supply being defective, i was shipped a new one, ran a few days, and now the random computer crashes are happening again, just like last time.
This is the first product I bought from enermax, so im not sure if they make poor products, or if This is just a bad product line.
I really hope this is the former

1 out of 5 eggsBad History with DOA

Pros: Nothing as my wings were clipped before I got a chance to see my PSU run.. It lasted 30 minutes before just going dead and not passing any power to the MB

Cons: I took a very long time researching the build of my computer. When I was finally finished it was going to be a monster. Here is my parts list.

(1) Intel Core i7-4930K Ivy Bridge-E 3.4GHz LGA 2011

(8) G.SKILL Ares Series 64GB (8 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C10Q-32GAO

(3) of these.... SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

(2) BLue Ray Burners

(1) EVGA ACX Cooler 03G-P4-2784-KR GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

(1) ASRock X79 Extreme11 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

With all the fans, etc AND Bitfinex beast of a box. I spent 2 days just studying it and planning my build.. Reading all documentation in detail and reading over again in case I was not sure. In the end it was beautiful. I turned it on and it went right into BIOS when I hit F2. It sat like that for a bit while I was preparing to read through the RAID instructions through the PDF that the paper manual tells you to read....

Ended up going upstairs for a minute and returning downstairs and the computer was off. Nothing felt hot, Nothing even smelled like burnt electronics... I could not get the power supply to turn on even after disconnecting everything on the MB and just trying to turn on the MB. Nothing would work so I had to return it immediately and request a refund. I am hoping my other 2k in assets such as MB, Graphics Card, are not destroyed as well.

I went by the book with the install and it appears the PSU lasted roughly 30 minutes before it popped. I even dedicated the graphics card to a rail not being used and dispersed load throughout the power supply which by the way was not even close to being done.. I wanted to add (3) more cards into my system but I definitely do not trust this power supply to handle the load if it only lasted 1 hour on a 5% load since it was idle.

Other Thoughts: Look at the same people on this very list having reported very similar things happening to them. When you see a history of the same problem and it has not been resolved by production or design team then you know not to replace it with another unit of the same make and model... I will look for a new vendor and be sure to stay clear of these guys and to tell anyone who I speak with to do the same.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Good

Pros: Running this power supply above 80% efficiency with 4x R9 290 cards for scrypt mining. Has been running fine for weeks.

Cons: Maybe the wires could be better manageable, very stiff and hard to collapse.

Other Thoughts: Expensive power supply but good quality, hopefully it lasts for a while since I am running it around 1300+ watts 24-7.

4 out of 5 eggsMaxRevo 1500 watt Plus Gold

Pros: This 1500 watt PSU provides the power supply I need without having to combine to PSU's. I was pleasantly surprised that the fan for this PSU is quiet. I was also very happy to see that Enermax supplied the PSU with heavy duty cables.

Cons: This 1500 watt has six rails. There was not any manufacturer information included about the recommended plugs for balancing the power supply. I had to use trial and error and had some issues getting the cables connected to plugs in a manner that worked. Better documentation would be helpful.

Other Thoughts: Overall rating is good and I would recommend this PSU.
