Pros: Nice partial modular design let me only connect the cables I needed so far less clutter in my tower case. Those old style 4 contact plugs that were once used for everything seem to no longer be used so I just left that cable out. In my case everything was powered by the SATA style power plugs so I just routed one of those to the power supply and then plugged it in. By going first to the devices and then to the PS it was easier to get a nice compact routing. The flat cable to the motherboard connectors also helped make a clean install. Call it praise or a gripe but I can no longer tell when the machine is turned on because I can't hear the fans. The fans are much bigger than my OEM ones were.

Cons: The box did not include a power cord. Since I was doing a replacement it caused no problems but if building from scratch that would have possibly been inconvenient. The instructions were more or less non-existent but the modular nature of the task meant that was not a problem.

Other Thoughts: I replaced an older OEM 280W power supply with this one and was a bit nervous about fit but it is a more or less standard arrangement and even the screws from the old supply fit perfectly in the new one. It truly was plug-n-play that way. My mother board has a 4 pin plug in addition to the 24 pin and this supply did not seem to have one. I finally figured out the 8 pin was designed to pull apart and my power supply tester confirmed it worked perfectly that way, using only one side of the plug.

Pros: I own the 430W version, and really like it, so really disappointed that my 530W was defective.

- really nice design with crinkle finish coat
- I like the semi-modular because it keeps the cable area leaving the psu cleaner
- full ribbon cables, which isn't super common
- 80+ gold is awesome
- "Heat Guard" is a nice feature

Cons: Something in the modular cables/headers was defective. 24pin and 8pin CPU work fine, and power the motherboard up, but SATA cables won't power HDD/SSD/ODD so they don't show up in motherboard BIOS. Super confusing for a couple days of troubleshooting.

Pros: Great, large, quiet fan, nice exterior design, great for price I paid (~$70)

Cons: Expensive if full price, but totally worth the money if bought on sale

Other Thoughts: Overall great product. It is 80+ Gold Certified (as you may already know), and it is semi-modular. It is perfect for running my i7 4790k + GTX 970 setup. 10/10 would buy again.

Pros: Great quality and has a huge cooling fan that is quiet. The cables are very well designed and easy to connect.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: It's a little pricy, but, in this case, you get what you pay for.
I would recommend this product.
