5 out of 5 eggsNo problem & good price!

Pros: The PSU worked right out of box. It's been running great since I got it 3 months ago.

Cons: Can't think of anything right now.

Other Thoughts: I got this psu with $20 rebate, no tax, and free shipping. I am really happy with the build quality and it's price!

1 out of 5 eggsCompletely dissapointed

Pros: None, do not buy

Cons: 2nd Power supply that arrived DOA or it simply wont work with Haswell processors as advertised in the overview tab.

$15 to return this thing even though it's DOA.

Other Thoughts: My dad wanted to build a home server so he could use VM labs to study for upcoming certifications. He purchased this power supply with a Xeon E3 2130 V3 chip, Asus P9D-V motherboard, and Kingston DDR3 ECC buffered memory. After installing all the hardware he was unable to get video and there were no beep codes even after pulling the ram.

He decided to give up and return everything but he couldn't return the CPU (replacement only) so I figured I'd give it a go and use it for my house. I picked up the Supermicro MBD-x10SLH-F-O motherboard, Corsair ECC 1600 ram, and this power supply (he sent his back and I ordered a completely new one). I got the exact same problem, no beeps, no video even with the ram pulled. I had a spare i3 4130 in my sons computer so I pulled that processor and tried again. Same results so I tried the Xeon on his board. System posted perfectly. I eventually got around to swapping power supplies and what do you know, the system posted!

I don't know what is up with these Enermax power supplies, I thought maybe the voltage switch was set to 220 and discovered there is no voltage switch, so maybe the autoswitch inside is defaulting to 220 and causing these issues.

Spend more on a different power supply, you're going to spend it anyway RMAing this thing.
